THE best low rate private server. Forever in my heart TalonRO. Lots of custom content. Fair and balanced gameplay. Constant patching and trying to make all classes and builds possible. Sad fate. Was fun. 5-6 years and counting. Worth every minute.

The server is going strong but the game is dying, no more new players, and the economy is almost dead. In terms of latency and disconnection, it would be a common occurrence, making the game un-enjoyable to play. Don't play here unless you're from the US or Europe. Latency & Disconnection will kill you.

Been playing RO on and off for several years now and TalonRO is still up and running strong, for that reason it's the only server I play on. Every time I come back to it there is always. New cool features are always being added and makes the game that much better. Used to play iRO, the official RO back in the days and I think TalonRO is much better.

Been on and off from this server for 9 years, which makes this my fourth review. TalonRO definitely improved significantly over the past few years. The SQI Revamp made class balance better than it used to be. BG/WoE is getting more active and incentives provided is more competitive. PvM and high-end dungeons are always the core for TalonRO and it's still as challenging as ever. If you're looking for a server to stay for a long time, I'm sure it's really worth the try.

I played RO off and on for years. When I decided to come back to RO I wanted a server that had slightly boosted rates and a large player base. TalonRO has both. This server has been around a long time for good reason. The GMs constantly work on updates to content, events, equipment, you name it. There are many QoL fixes that I LOVE and tons of end-game opportunities. It is a stellar server and maintenance time is kept to a minimum. I would recommend this server to anyone looking to play RO.

One of the reason I hate this server is too much nerfing and changing of the game. Some people call this server NerfRO. They can totally change the skill function in a total opposite way like a 360degress, which a player heavily invested time, zeny and dedicate a build, and will tell you, you need to adapt and move on without any compensation at all. I think they are expecting people to donate again. ATM, pvp so dead, BG 2 days only active, WoE 2 guilds playing and dead most of the time.

I have been part of TRO since 2017 when my husband introduced me to it. There is always something to do and some goal to work on. The community is very helpful and willing to give advice. The GM team run events to benefit the players, and are always willing to assist players. It feels like a small, tight knit community, and I love that. The server rarely crashes, and the Talon Shop means that high end items are attainable by anyone with time and effort through in game currency.

Still after all these years the only RO server I play. Through SQIs and the accessibility of cards, tRO created a type of gameplay that I personally just really enjoy. Well so far so good. Good game, good events, friendly GMs (but not all GMs, but they are all genuinely hardworking GMs), relatively stable private server, but still have some bugs tho. Hope players and GMs can improve this server more.
