Server is always up but is regularly laggy at times, more-so recently. Never during critical WoE times though. Community is a mixed bag with some very opinionated veterans and some more friendly. Most GMs are inactive. The admin (HaZe) is quite inactive outside of processing donations and catering changes to his friends/server veterans. WoE is good if you like precasting, no GvG. Renewalish means neither 2nds or 3rds are balanced. The server could be great with new management. <100 unique player

New and upcoming server that shows a lot of promise from the admin's openness to player input and regular addition of features. WoE/BG/PvP are up and coming. Check youtube for videos of WoE. As of last WoE, there were 50+ unique players active. There are some newbie friendly features and the starting grind is reasonable to get WoE/BG ready in a week of effort.

The server just relaunched and seems to be heading in the right direction. There are two serious guilds starting to build up for WoE. Hopefully BG and PVP over MVPs will be competitive as the server matures. The server just launched the economy is more or less an unknown at this point. Having played Essence back in v1 and v2, I would say that this is a worthy successor to bring EssenceRO into the 2020s.

Server is up and stable. There is no economy at the moment since the server just opened and there aren't a ton of players. The changes seem fairly balanced and the current amount of content will keep people busy for quite a while. This server takes time to level and get end-game gear but getting standard gear is very quick. Guild competition is TBD given that there are some small factions and no PVP/GVG other than over MVPs/leveling spots.

Server is a stable low rate and not as p2w as it may initially appear. Although everything could technically be bought with cash, it's not economically feasible for most people to do so thus making the server play to win. That being said, the server is incredibly grindy. Patches are small, conservative changes that will always be far behind community demand. WoE/BG is mostly a miss but can sometimes be great. The admins undervalue PvP content and lack PvP experience to make meaningful changes.

The Kugan (subclass) system is unique and refreshing for RO. Tons of end-game content and character progression with more planned. The server initially seems more polished than it actually is. A number of Kugan skills and end-game content are bugged/broken. Patches are frequent but filled with new/old bugs. Strong builds are nerfed to unplayable levels leaving your characters near worthless. Some community members are xenophobic.One admin takes all criticism as a personal attack.No PvP/WoE scene

Solid server. The owner is active and continues to pursue a unique take on pre re with an emphasis on quality of life changes and buffs to underutilized classes/builds. Renewal and unique content is being regularly added alongside episodical updates. Economy is kind of lacking due to the lack of players and the low drop rates on end game gear. WoE is picking up with 2 or more GvG guilds playing weekly. I recommend playing this server if you are interested in a low rate or long term server.
