exRO is one of the best server's i've played on, having played on over 10. Not only does it have basic rates (4x) which is a fantastic way to weed out all the nobodies who just sit in town and whine about boredom when they hit level cap in 2 hours. It also has a nice balance of game donations bought with money and custom equips obtained with in game quests. The admins balance out the server itself, not just donations, by closing castled based on population to increase guild competition!

Billed as a server that totes pre-re mechanics with integrated renewal aspects, i was skeptical at this as it seemed gimmicky, and i wasnt wrong. it plays like a pre-re with customized 3rds + a few other bits and pieces. i couldn't find anywhere detailing which part is pre-re or renewal. Probably the worst (imo) custom edit was they turned pvp on all mvp maps, restricted all 3rd skills on all pvp maps, and supercharged MVPs with things like linker buff spams and extra high damage. i'd avoid this

The server and it's features are neat, but the community is mean and abrasive. very hard to get into anything social or co-op unless you're max level and playing optimal, cookie cutter builds. I, personally, wouldnt recommend this one

Avoid this server like the plague!! This server is highly customized in all the wrong ways. They did good with some of the class changes, fixing snafu problems with them and quality of life changes, but its not good enough to make up for the bad changes. They altered MVPs and mini bosses to be unreasonably powerful, often 1 shotting with magic they shouldnt normally have. their warper is half missing and some are there but unavailable to use. boring, broken auto events and no community.

A mediocre server. Had some @commands, but missing things like @refresh and @alootid, very few people in the community are nice. No real guild play, everyone is just solo or in small groups. the economy is 100% crappered because there are dozens of MVP cards on the market and as a result everything is overpriced. a majority of the end game stuff is reliant on the cash shop but donations are only taken in swedish Krona (despite it being an american server). All in all, not new player friendly

I'm kind of half-in-the-bag about this server. -No FCT sounds good on paper, but then they changed stat reduction of VCT to be exponential (more you have, less it reduces). -Cash shop isnt piled high with op headgears and buffs, but some core cash items are missing. Enr.refine ores are dropped by MVPs who are always camped by 1 person. -Unique WoE substitute. interesting on paper, bad in practice. it highly favors attackers>defenders -Admin is nice/skilled, but bad at dealing with people issues

Have you ever wanted you OWN PERSONAL private server? Well then this is the server for you... Except you have no control over anything. No GM presence, no discord or forum means you get what's there and nothing else. There is some good and bad. Excessive card drop rates means no challenge farming, almost like its halfway a test server. Some good money sinks like costumes and gears, some bad sinks like healing reset and warping Makes it rough for new players. not enough kafra item selection, too.

One of the best servers I've played on in the last 4-5 years, despite it being new. Not much in the way of GM-hosted events, but the head admin is active and friendly on discord and issues tend to get fixed very quickly.
