This server has a dramatic history, and its existence has been threatened more than once, but it managed to pull through because of the loyal players and talented GM staff. And now it's better than ever! After a long dry spell, new content is being added frequently. The GMs are really on top of things! Anthem is here to stay!!

I've called AnimusRO my home for 6+ years & I love it for better or worse. The economy is veteran-centric with pricy top-tier & cheap mid/low-tier items. Getting started is actually easy; catching up may require help. We have many friendly players who want to see the server grow. The staff recently added an impressive system for custom events, followed by automated mini-events, daily quests, & balances to game mechanics. The updates just keep coming! Stick with AnimusRO & you'll be glad you did.

The server is only down for a bit when new content is added. The staff has doubled their efforts to improve the server over the past few months. There's always something happening: WoE, faction war, automated events, GM events, holiday events, dungeon runs, etc. WoE is getting a makeover. I expect guild competition to pick up soon. Prices of top-tier items are intimidating for newbies, but getting started is easy. Then if you are willing to work your way up, others may help you reach your goals.

There are moments when I wonder why I still play RO but then I login JellyRO & remember why. The name has changed over the past 10 yrs but I've always been able to log in & pick up where I left off with all my old chars. Fun community with a few trolls for spice. Mix of old/new players. Creative custom quests & events! Always something new! Typical old-server economy; they're trying to fix it. A few items need to be balanced; seems like work in progress. WoE/PvP: few players, plenty of drama! XD
