Been playing on oRO for 5 years now and there's no better Ragnarok instance out there. They come and go and oRO is still the only one who will stay around and stay true. For those of you who enjoy PvM and use this game to relax, it's the best out there. For those of you who prefer WoE, there is a half-decent scene that might or might not interest you. Honestly, this is the best Ragnarok experience you will get, there's no two ways about it.

Multiclient fiesta. Make as many characters as you can and come up with a plan. This is how you ice the competition. WoE is 100 vit for stun ressist or gtfo so yeah. every class has an economic niche so thats good for PvM. PvP does exist if you challange the main chat and it is quite challanging when people bring their max level characters. Main chat is a good implimentation that brings life to the server it allows you to be degenerate but also to seek and share game knowledge.

Always feels great to come back to this server. Great vibes, crowded cities, parties always ongoing, a hoard of vendors & blasting prontera BGM at max to get the optimum nostalgia xD. Solid choice for everyone.

This Server has a great community and gives you nice retro-feeling. It's definitely no pay-to-win (since there's no possiblity to spend money on this server) and there is no custom overpowered special equipment which imbalances complete classes. Oh and it's pre renewal, which is great, since Renewal kinda sucks :D Tried many servers to find a new "Ragnarok Online Home" and I was absolutely not disappointed by choosing OriginsRO

Origins is still an amazing server despite it's age. It is now on the hugel/odin patch so it's not hard for incoming players to catch up. Kreuzbube works constantly on QoL Fixes and the client gets lots of nice little tweaks. Economy is well controlled, pvm is still fun. Lower drop rates keep hunting relevant while exp rates are boosted by parties with no dual clients to make partying fun and desirable. WoE is a bit of a lame duck right now, that's the community fault not GMs.

+This is the game, the server that you would want to play after work or school, to chill and have a little fun chats with friends while doing the in-game activities. +Players that are too serious and desperate (Cheat/Bot/Scam/RMT/Abuse) are swiftly punished by the staff. + The community is small, but overall friendly and helpful. + No cash shop, you are not a customer here. Player since 4,5 years. I still love the server. I have a lot of adventure parties and player-made events(a lot bc my own discord comm there). I found a lot of friends there over the years and find that the community in generell got friendlier over the past year. There is almost always a GM available. The comm is also helpful in technical and other questions. Almost no bots, a lot effort from GMs against cheating, extrem stable, good market. I play only PvM. i like the slow pace content add!

no cash shop. stable. friendly community. 10 for the event as they give us planned events. Not some generic hourly sh*te events(yes, looking at you 2months cash grab servers). Friendly, yes. Do as you are told, GMs want you to be straightforward when asking questions. I myself tried to help players from discord and ingame, but there's more ppl who enjoys helping! OriginsRO is a unique server with a lot of charming things: 1. At every kafra/city corner you will almost always see a guild chilling at a spot, very rare where spots are empty. 2. Economy is refreshing but due to the people hunting for consistent zeny instead of rares it can be quite inconsistent. 3. The server only has one active GM and events are only seasonal. Been a year but I met a lot of good people on this server, would recommend it to anyone who wants a vanilla low rate server!

I've played RO since 2004 and this is the best server still active in 2022. That's all you need to know. Healthy population, healthy economy, healthy competition, all is good here. This server is worth it whether you're a new or old player.
