Ex Pre-re player here. After a 7 years hyatus I decided to come back to RO and try Renewal. After trying all the mainstream servers I played on Nova and for me it was simply the best renewal experience I could ask for. Very polished server, hard rules against rmt and botting (never encountered one), balanced donations, enjoyable custom content, perfectly designed to contrast the kRo tendency of putting items behind paywalls. The population is nice too, I would definitely recommend to any player

The server has an active Staff and in usual they are quite available and provide good suport. Also a good point of the server is large number of events. Customization is something good becus official servers are far from perfect, but that customization have problems too. The biggests problems of the server in that moment is; PvP [include bg/woe] scenario not good, PvM content, in general, not challenging, Classes unbalanced.

I've played NRO for 2yrs and now stopped, thought it will be different from other servers and i was wrong, it's still RNG over and over, BG/pvp/WoE is massively customized that you won't even know what to use or do anymore. They implemented 17.2 a week ago and the put huge RNG wall in front of it, I don't suggest this server if you're casual player who can only play 1~2hrs a day cuz you will be left out far behind the others. Don't be fooled by online players, 80%vendors 5%duals and 15%players

On cyber monday I purchased some donor points as I was enjoying the server. An hour later the GMs made a short termed event for cyber monday giving extra nova points to donors. I mentioned my earlier purchase and they honored the bonus points. The server has tons of events and if you're bored of grinding has a lot to offer. It's in good fun. The donation items are nearly entirely from iRO. Any drop rate complaints are silly. You know the rate of the server when you sign up.

The community is nice, Gm always hosts events and this server has a community base on classes u play. woe / PVP (typical 1 hit what u expect for a 3rd job server? not 1 hit in woe and PVP) woe is not the best (only 1 castle) and woe draft only strong players got to play :(. but it's a really good server I really enjoy everything here. I hate in novaro is banning. banning player that dosen't even RTM sucks!. and they won't give evidence to that player that was banned. over all Its A great server.

Too many customs and things are harder to get than official. Custom content wasn't even balanced and only cater to few classes. BG is dead. WOE is customize by guild with commissioners to their own favor. If they don't like it, they nerf it (rip melee RKS). GM who are players often leaked info to their own guilds. Some have insight on next update and have advantage on the market. Dying population too, people left for another servers. Support always have: where's GM? Not fun.

Returning veteran WoE player. The server has potential but unfortunately the staff attempts to balance WoE/Pvp/BG around imbalanced MVP cards in an already difficult to balance game. Out of the 150-200 WoE players maybe only 5-10 get to play the actual game, the rest get instantly deleted and can't play on equal terms. Not going to further waste my guilds time in an unfair competition. Tip: Move FBH to tier 0 so people can actually play without needing GTB. MVP cards=noskill. Good PVM server

THIS IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS SERVER, I WAS PLAYING FOR ALMOST 6YRS ON THIS SERVER, AND I CAN SAY THIS SERVER IS GOOD BUT THE GM TEAM IS TRASH AND ACT LIKE A GOD IF YOU HAVE A GM FRND YOUR IN A GOOD HANDS IF YOU PLAY THIS SERVER, BUT IF YOUR JUST A NORMAL PLAYER YOUR GOOD AS DEAD IF YOU PLAY THIS SERVER. GM SELLING MVP CARDS FOR REAL MONEY IS REAL HERE. IF YOU SAY SOMETHING ABOUT IT ON GAME YOU WILL GET BANNED RIGHTAWAY. PLEASE EVERYONE WHO READ MY COMMENT BELIEVE ME THIS SERVER IS TRASH !

Despite I had chosen 6 months, my account was made 2 years ago, it is a relieve to see NovaRO as populated and alive as I had left. This server is perfect for you if you possesses one the following: 1. very high social skills and friendly 2. you have 4 friends that is as dedicated as you. Otherwise you will have slight issue with obtaining Shadow gear in this game because you will have to make a party of 5 to do Monster Hunter for gathering craft materials, I always wish I can solo them myself

Quite possibly one of the best servers I've ever had the pleasure of playing on. The number of players is sizeable and mostly free of toxicity. The custom content is easily accessible and fair in difficulty, and there's always someone looking for levelling parties. GMs are available pretty often, quite helpful if a player has questions or concerns, and they treat everyone fairly from what I've seen. If you're looking for a low-rate server with an excellent community, NovaRO is the place to be~
