The game is fun to play and people will help you if you are a newbie. The grinding is easy and their are guides to help you level up and grind for better gear. Events pop up on your screen when you want to join like MVP hunts. I have yet to join a guild so i cant really say much about it, but i will join as soon as i make another character for farming. The community is very friendly and will guide you if you ever need something.

(REVIEW for NIFLHEIM) This server blows! Everyone is too friendly. I remember when I first started out more than a year ago, I reached endgame in like a month coz everyone just keeps leeching me in endgame content. The support GM/s make it a point to answer your queries within a few minutes and are generally nice people. If you're a masochistic antisocial grinder, just stay away from Niflheim!

Lot's of good things to be said about the server. GMs are helpful, especially Nuit. Depending on what you're looking for, there are two sub-servers: Helheim or Niflheim. SmRO isn't pay to win as many cash shop items such as (most)ores can be bought from other players at reasonable prices. Events have come frequently enough and usually give rewards. With that said, the cons to the server would be the inconsistency in player activity. Players have varying time zones. Pvp/guilds wars cease to exist

THE best server I have been to and still playing at to this day. Its not a pay to win server and the cash shop is mostly cosmetics and nothing game breaking. Closest thing to a official server experience.

Still the best Renewal server. GM and ADM are super friendly, helpful and professional. Community is mixed, you have the rotten apple bunch, but you can find people willing to guide newbies. Population is not huge, but the server doesn't feel empty either. Economy is healthy enough that is not hard for a newbie to make some zeny and buy good equips. They don't have a "VIP" system and the economy does not revolve around cash shop like in other servers. Downside: end-game progression = instances

I've been playing SmRO for quite a few years. The two things that captured me were first, the game is usually up to date, Lunar is always working in QoL changes and keeping the game as updated as possible. And second the QoL for refining and gear availability. What always made me bonkers in RO was the pay to win for gearing, which became worse in Renewal. The daily bonuses, instance shop, moonlight coins, world bosses and purgatory/fortessa fix this PTW.

This is a server that follows the latest updates, it is currently in EP 18, the server is stable and good and I have been playing it for years. Besides the constant drama on mvp camping and the market drama for mvp cards (both normal in RO) the server is stable and fine and probably the most up to date server out there. GM(s) are fair and friendly. Play with your friends/active guild and avoid drama and you are set. To summarize good PVE content, no PVP content. Take it with a grain of salt.

Great server with great features, unfortunately It is not very populated. GMs seems very friendly and I had no major issues. The custom mechanics helps a lot. People argue that there's not many people online but forget that many peoplo from around the globe plays in it, so timetables may vary.
