This is how RO should be, there are many custom item custom map custom monster and making a lot of classes or build that are weak become viable. game is balance, the gm take care of classes that are weak and making them more playable give it a try, if u are a classic RO fan i'm sure u will like it.

I have been on the server for about 8 months and it's been very enjoyable. Discord is the primary communication for GMs and they have specific channels for tech or game issues. Events can run a little long but are designed so that everyone can have a chance to experience them. If you look for a guild you will find one pretty fast but WoE is the only guild event I've seen. Classes are relatively balanced already but some (like Sage) are being evaluated for buffs. The custom content is enjoyable.

Been playing this server last year pretty heavily, took a break of RO and came back again. It is the best RO Server i've played in the last 10+ years. No p2w, no donations, great balancing, great class-reworks, great QoL changes. Payon Stories will make me not able to play any other low-rate server in the future, due to its uniqueness. Custom content. Def deserves way more players! Heads up for the next years~

Content progression is slow, but this server is playing the long game with carefully curated class balance changes to make all classes fun to play rather than just leave them as they were in their broken and often almost useless state, party exp bonuses that encourages partying and custom content a gear that helps fill in some gaps that Gravity left in the old game. There is no way to donate money, the devs and staff do it purely out of passion for the game.

Been playing on and off since lauch and it's the best low rate right now. Staff and community are friendly and helpful. There's an ever going class balance to make sure every class is fun and viable. Custom content is simple but unique. Economy is a bit slow right now because WoE haven't started yet, but there's always people buying and selling stuff. There's always a seasonal event going on. Rates are closer to 2~2.5x (mob exp rebalance, party and tap bonuses) and minimum drop chance is 0.02%.

Best lowrate long-play server to come home from work and play. administration of the server monitors the containt. The players are friendly. Server have some custom game location and game-play balance. Like it.

I really like to play in this low rate server. I suggest to play in this server who like classic server. Friendly community,GM support/ticket,custom maps and monsters, GM active events etc. Woe is competitive.

A very cool classical serveur with many adaptations/reworks. Pretty fun to play with small parties or with full parties. The rework give access to many cool build. The admins are taking care of our feedback. Many features are planned : Gun / Transcendant. About content, custom ET is cool. New maps are cool too (ashes / muspelheim/ undertomb) You have many things to discover.

This server is for anyone who loves the feel of classic RO, and who enjoys custom changes that just make sense. Pretty much every class has playable builds, and the balance is overall very good with a few outliers. At the time of writing, Trans has been announced for this year(2024) with Super Novice and Ninja being the only classes available outside of base, with Gunslinger coming soon. There is active rebalancing being done for the health of the server. Rate is more 3x-5x due to custom tuning

Was recently invited by a friend to play RO again, their server was okay but I preferred if there were less p2w mechanics and if the UI of the client was working well. Unfortunately it wasn't so I searched for a different client and found Payon Stories. The client runs smoothly and all UI interfaces are working properly afaik. if you're looking for a server that is not p2w, this is it.
