Never did i encountered a server so bad i had to go and write a negative review on it. But here am i.While you can join, play and have fun here just like everywhere else keep in mind - gm's team is a collection of garbage or in their words a close group of friends who runs server for themselves, and if you really do not care about management you are free to join.Yet this guys literally banned me from their discord for an innocent joke which was posted in the *wrong section*. What's there to add?

Hello not doing reviews that much but this server deserves it, I think best 1x low rate server out there for those who want really challenge themselves and play the real close to vanilla server this would be the best choice, very friendly community ppl helping each other, GM very helpful and respectful to the community join us and you will not regret!

New server that brings back that old-school RO feel. Surprised at the population being as good as it is, but hoping that continues to improve. The 1x rates for exp/job are awesome, but I do enjoy cards being 2x. Game crashes every so often- I believe it's due to my Medal software. I also have some issues adjusting the resolution, which sometimes crashes the game. Overall it's been a blast jumping back into RO after all these years, thanks to YanisRO.

great server for the nostaglia.im playing on this server for 2 weeks now just hitting monsters mindlessly and its relaxing. never seen gm ingame or do events so its 5/10 for me. but they are active on discord. they label it hardcore x1 but the cards drop rate is x2 which is fine. 0 guild competition for now because of low population. economy is ok. class balance is ok .but swordsman class beware they have the old bowling bash gutter bug and grandcross cellbug. tldr:70/100

This server stays true to its old-school roots, Providing a classic experience with 1x rates, It's ideal for players who enjoy a slow grind and a single-client setup However, the current low player count, If you're dedicated to exploring a nostalgic server and are ready t invest time into overcoming its challenges, Then Yanis Charonicles could be a worthwhile adventure. Otherwise you might want to explore other servers that offer a more contemporary or active environment offer RMT, Freestuff -_-

My experience with YanisRO has been okay, but I witnessed some red flags and ultimately, there's no vision for the future for the server. Customisation is minimal, assistance too, so the grind will be real. Overall there isn't really anything that makes the server stand out. Regarding red flags, I don't like when GM's have characters and here the GM has a monk. Also, some sus stuff like a low-level characters getting rare drops and doing impromptu "events" - looks more like GM pretending tbh.

The player named Sanji/Sword KS me and my friend mob train on purpose at the migao map and laughed about it. Then he proceeded to harass me in direct messages and bragged that it was good content for his 2 viewers stream. Judging by another person's comment about it, this player cringe behaviour on the global chat and maps has bothered more than one person and the gm did not do anything about it. A good server but you do not want to be aroundtoxic people who rant in global chat all day

This is a great place to play 1x on a 13.2, single-client server. I played for over two years on the beta and the server was extremely stable. Most serious bugs have been ironed out. It is the opposite of P2W, with no donations whatsoever. There are some slight modifications to make the experience marginally more "hardcore", but overall if you just want to play on a 1x you won't be disappointed!

After all the server hoping I've done, I think I found in Yanis my home for rag. Great server, no bullsh*t - just plain ragnarok, the game we've all fell in love. All it needs is more people, but I feel its growing in an interesting pace, and the community is very playful and friendly - just like it should be. Long live Yanis and I'm here hoping for the best :)

It's Ragnarok the way it was supposed to be played. The players are friendly enough and the server is stable and long lasting, it's a great place to put in some effort and be rewarded for it. GMs are usually available in-game or on dsicord.
