Server has been up and running for the longest time with no major issues. Loads of custom content that have been carefully integrated and blend seamlessly with the original, imo very perfect balance especially aesthetic and lore wise. Plenty of events scheduled weekly/monthly by the GM team to keep players engaged. Small community but friendly and has it peak times especially during holiday/bday month in October, so lots of things to look forward to!

HeRo is a great and fun server, i really love playing here. So many content, custom quests, renewal content with balanced to pre-renewal. Population is low thats true, but there are many things to do, make cute hats, do quests, explore new custom maps that are super. Oh and there are fishing and mining systems too! I heartily recommend it to everyone to give it a try.

I like to think of heRO as my discovery. I haven't had this much fun playing a Ragnarök private server in years! With original kingdoms and thousands of quests, there's always something to do, whether earning reputation points or making a cute hat. Even though the population is low atm, nothing stops the market from moving. There's always a player ready to buy your stuff or sell you a rare item. No wonder this server stands strong for so many years. Even as a newbie, I shout: long live heRO!

HeRO is a custom intensive server, with new regions and renewal content updated to fit pre-renewal gameplay. The low server population makes parties and the market unactive. WoE was actif for a while and then died, with now one guild remaining with most of the current players in it. There is no Cash shop, but it does accept donation that give in game rewards. Such has enriched ores, gear and GM tickets that can be used for many things. The server has pay to win in it in a lot of aspects.

Great server with tons of custom features, Newbie friendly Community GMs are always active on discord and ppl are willing to help new players, this is a small server but with really fun!Give this server a shot

Still tons of customs to explore and do, and birthday introduced tons of fun events so October was a lot of fun. However activity slowed down since the birthday events. GMs are active though it takes awhile for them to process donations. Champions are still OP against mvps with all the custom gears which GMs really need to fix.

The server has never been wiped, which gives players peace of mind that items will not disappear. This is a double edged sword for new players since they will compete against those with MVP/mini-boss cards and god items in PvE/PvP. WoE temporarily revived but some players carried the toxicity into PvM resulting in players quitting; players choosing to no longer party with other guilds; and was an example of how the GMs do not intervene in social issues that are not explicitly against the rules.

I have played many different servers over the years and heRO is the one I always go back to...It's reliable, friendly, lots of quests, events, always something to do. The GM's are active and discord is always active. If you are new to the server or new to ragnarok all together, there's always people on discord to guide you through it. And one plus about this server is, it's not pay to win. You can go from level 1 to trans max character and never pay one cent. Come try it! Make friends! Have fun!

A great PvE server. Custom equips enables some variation on builds and gear. No class is absolute in terms of farming, every corner of the world has a spot that one could be efficient doing it. Custom maps are interesting and require proper planning, asking for player's creativity in solving problems. Further than PvE, the happenings are low activity. Some timed exclusivity gears by design may be a let down, and events rewards more than actual content. Join a group of friends and have fun.

I've been playing RO since Pre-trans and I've been playing heRO for a few years now. I've always looked for a classic server that had good balanced customs without too much deviation from official and heRO managed to offer that. GMs are very involved with the players and are active in the discord. The events are very fun and unique and usually always surprise me. Low-ish population but it's what's expected from a 15 year old game. But the active players are always there to help new ones.
