Good pvm server with content customized for pre-renewal while maintaining the feel of it so you don't have to relearn everything, but only look at what's added to the known system. There's lots of custom items or changed mechanics to boost weaker builds (like bird sniper or grand cross). Server is old and always available with no wipes in 17 years. It's great for ppl to hop in, take a break, and come back at your own pace. Market is lopsided to mvp drops over regular mob drops though.

A fun low rate pre-renewal server. There are no wipes so you won't lose progress, all these years later it still feels like home. Server customization contains exclusive enemies, equipment, QOL upgrades & events, including an orientation quest that gets newcomers to lv80 and the new ROguelite event. WOE has always been bad and in-game feels like a ghost town at times, so don't forget to join their friendly active discord server, where you'll find GM's and nearly 500 of heRO's players & veterans

PvE scene : 4.5/5 <3 a lot of friendly people helping out newbies and veterans alike, partying up with them has always been a blast! PvP (WoE) scene : 0/5. To put it lightly, it's a stage 4 cancer patient with uncontrolled diabetes and heart failure. Only 1 active castle permanently held by 1 guild God items locked behind castle rewards This means if you want God items = suck up to the guild holding the castle My 3 encounters with said guild, however, were all bad 3rd time was not the charm

do NOT click on the girl (tiamat) with the big "QUEST" sign over his head, she will block you from using the job changer. Your day will be ruined and your disappointment will be immeasurable

HeRO is a custom intensive server, with new regions and renewal content updated to fit pre-renewal gameplay. The low server population makes parties and the market unactive. WoE was actif for a while and then died, with now one guild remaining with most of the current players in it. There is no Cash shop, but it does accept donation that give in game rewards. Such has enriched ores, gear and GM tickets that can be used for many things. The server has pay to win in it in a lot of aspects.

Still tons of customs to explore and do, and birthday introduced tons of fun events so October was a lot of fun. However activity slowed down since the birthday events. GMs are active though it takes awhile for them to process donations. Champions are still OP against mvps with all the custom gears which GMs really need to fix.

The server has never been wiped, which gives players peace of mind that items will not disappear. This is a double edged sword for new players since they will compete against those with MVP/mini-boss cards and god items in PvE/PvP. WoE temporarily revived but some players carried the toxicity into PvM resulting in players quitting; players choosing to no longer party with other guilds; and was an example of how the GMs do not intervene in social issues that are not explicitly against the rules.

This server is more of less empty, only high level peoples having everything already.The "big" uptime is about 10-20 players.Do Monk, Alcho or Hunter class otherwise everything is so long and grindy since those can solo mvps like nothing and the rest no which Gm's don't seem to recognise as a class balance issue. Pvp is still 1shot festival so nothing new here... When you pull 10+ mobs there's a lag spike at times.. Custom gear seem very broken op, The new quests/regions are so-so tbh...

Nice server with alot of nice people and ALOT of custom content. But there is an extreamly toxic community where GMs favors a selected few of the servers most toxic players, because they are "veterans". The server is and built around champs, maps and MVPs and even the custom PVP-map with Emperium (MVPs). The server has been very unstable for most of 2021, The Eco is terrible. A few people have billions, only the best of the best is sold for ALOT of $$$$$ while other stuff considerd trash.

Long time player, this is definitely the most stable server I've played, but recently had some issues with hosting services, which the head GM was quick to resolve. Economy is kind of stagnant, as people hoard everything, but people either don't have the money to buy stuff, or don't want to shell out for the prices merchs are asking for. Can't really say much for guild competition, the 2 guilds that do woe are there, but yea. Heavy customization and sets for oddball builds.
