Server size is quite small, maybe around average of 50 players. But i started to know more people, everyone is helpful. Economy is quite balanced the problem is that demand and supply is not consistent. But right know i feel like i've made friends that will last.

Recently there's been a big overhaul of animations, which has really freshened up the look of everything.
The underlying lore keeps progressing through events and stories, which can be quite engaging for people that are into RP, or just the plot.
New custom gears are regularly added and there are a lot of pieces or even sets facilitating alternate styles of play, be it in a general way or specific to certain jobs.

I've stuck with this server for almost a decade with my friends. There's always something new to keep things interesting for old players and new players alike. I haven't had any major issues in my gameplay so far and if there were occasional bumps, the GM are responsive to queries. It's a pretty solid server for keeps.

Good server so far, very helpful members and small and tight knit community. I have levelled to 70/40 in three days. The rates are well balanced for a slower more immersive game. Their Save Point Prontera quest is one of the more enjoyable custom server quests out there and brought me a lot more interest and knowledge about the Ragnarok world.

Server seems to be completely dead, started out, tried to figure out what i should be doing, found my way into Pontera, and the only people there were AFK traders. looked like they were all owned by the same person as they were all named nearly the exact same thing. only ever saw 1 other player that vanished a second later without a word. it was like a spooky ghost town.

Sorry to hear about your experience. While Prontera is the game's main town, players may be spread out in other towns, fields or dungeons. You can use Main Chat or our discord server, the general chattiness is happening there, as players can also talk without being online ingame.
You gave low scores, though you didn't explain why. heRO has been up for 14 years and counting, it is well-known for its stability and lag-free gameplay. GMs reply to ticket within 24h and classes are well balanced.

I've sank nearly a month of time into this server and have enjoyed my experience mostly so far. The admins are top tier and and the community is friendly.
If the admins have an ear to lend me I'd recommend making it a priority in 2020 to have more events and quests geared towards newer players. Nearly all events I've seen when I'm on have been geared towards the older accounts of the server. While I can understand doing that for sake of player retention this server does need fresh faces.

This was my 2nd server(some shady stuff happen and my first server closed) but after coming here, there was not going to be a 3rd server. This server is crammed with custom monsters, items, and maps. It’s even got a couple custom ranking systems; nobility, light/dark allegiance, reputation points. The server is less populated than it used to be, so make sure you use discord to better connect with other players.

Joined this not too long ago and so far so good. Overall I met friendly enough people and even got some help in the form or zeny and items from strangers. Lots of merchants (too much?), economy is good but it also means there are not that many real players as it seems. Still enough to be lively. Much fun!

Overall nice low rated server. Some people go crazy in hunting MVP so sometimes it’s hard to find the MPV you want alive. I made a lot of good friends over the years. Events are fun. GM’s are available to talk to and will answer questions or give advice if you ask them.

I've roughly been playing the server for 2 years. All things considered the server is pretty good.
Pros:
-A lot of well balanced custom content (renewal converted to prerenewal and totally original content as well)
-Friendly and active community
-Lots of events
-Old and stable server. Leave for a year? It'll still be there afterwards!
-Easy to start for new players
Cons:
-Low player count
-Some server settings might turn people off (eg. no dual clients)
