This has been my server of choice for years now. While it's had a few hiccups in service lately, over the years it has been always available with no rollbacks. The amount of custom mobs, gears, maps, and quests makes HeRO truly unique. Because it is an older server, there are some players that have monopolized the economy and gvg scene, but the GMs have gone out of their way to provide new players custom tools to quickly catch up and be competitive against the veterans.

Good server to come back to every now and then. Previous limitations were always in the pvp element, but recently, the guild competition aspect has greatly improved, which has brought back some energy and more reasons to play. Additionally, recent updates have greatly improved QoL elements from base RO.

What a server. Played for three years, now looking to get back into RO and this is just amazing. The GMs are very friendly and they always look for ways to make the community a better place. Also, they should make it a renewal server, then I would have no option but to spend my life here again. Thank you, heRO

Started about 7 mouths ago and been hooked. A lot of custom contents, regions, items, class changes and instances. Very friendly and helpful community, easy to make parties and leveling support on discord. Good WoE balance.

This is definitely the friendliest server I've ever played on, with players almost falling over each other to welcome you and get you started. I tend to be a bit of a lone player, but the community keeps me coming back. There's been some issues recently with up-time as the server has moved to the owner's personal machine, but even then there isn't much to complain about as it tends to be fixed within hours. Give it a try, there's monthly events and silly hats. :)

Long time player, this is definitely the most stable server I've played, but recently had some issues with hosting services, which the head GM was quick to resolve. Economy is kind of stagnant, as people hoard everything, but people either don't have the money to buy stuff, or don't want to shell out for the prices merchs are asking for. Can't really say much for guild competition, the 2 guilds that do woe are there, but yea. Heavy customization and sets for oddball builds.

Started playing about 2 weeks ago but on and off because addiction to 1 game and work. Community is very welcoming despite of being one of the longest running pservers out there. Customs are good, yet I have to explore more. Despite of having a small community, good start for those who wanna go solo and explore the game at a small pace from time to time. Would highly recommend the server to those who are really tired from starting from scratch with these sh!tty servers that dies very fast.

I joined heRO back in 2008 and recently started back up over the past year. While the population is small it consists of a fantastic community. There is great custom content including gears, quests, and maps that add a fun but balanced dimension to the game. Additionally, the discord is very active and heRO has a hardworking GM team keeping things going while also running some great events.

I have been on and off on this server since 2009. What I find very nice about this server is the community. No matter how long I have stopped playing, whenever I come back, the people are always nice and the server is so stable. I have never noticed any player griping anyone. The players are very knowledgeable, they will always teach you how to improve your build based on the contents of the server. Forming a party is convenient. It may be low rates but I don't find leveling up hard at all.
