Hero is the server I call home. It is a stable and I have been playing for over a year now. I'll say that everyone here is so kind. Fun events, balance items and a very good community. I enjoy playing with the community, and have even made a few close friends.

Still enjoying my time on heRO even if I haven't been on as much as I was in the past. Great community, interesting custom content, and periodic events. I also appreciate their attention to keeping the server going even despite having hosting issues recently. I highly suggest giving heRO a shot if you're willing to accept a lot of custom content.

heRO has stuck around thru the ebb and flow of any old game and its staying power shows. The server honors ROs roots and builds with new content. Balanced expansions with new map regions, storylines, gear metas, quests, class reworks, items, costume outfits, a custom pre blend in of renewal content, and more await. The population is a bit low and quiet in game, yet the discord is active and friendly. WoE is slow, tho easily accessible to new groups. Overall a good place for solo and groups alike

Great server, there is about 40 active players (130 with autotraders), but they are so helpful to new players. Guild competition is just about two guilds, but woe att is more or less 25 players, which is great. The server has a unique lore, and the GMs must have put a lot of work on this. The server is not p2w, so that also a plus. The Ninjas and alchemists received a good update recently! Great experience overall.

Dead server. Just a few vocal people on their discord server. Populated by auto vending merchants mostly. Content is customized beyond recognition. No economy, just bored loners parading their trophies. Weird donation rewards. GMs are openly playing too... Not recommended.

Brand new 2021, I still playing this server. Let's move forward to the 16th anniversary. Most balanced, Friendly, Helpful, Fun server I ever played. QoL, Custom Item/Monster/Gear/Map, Events, Party are well managed You are most welcome to join us~

HeRO is a friendly server with very hard working GMs who carefully plan out amazing events, and interesting custom content. They make sure to have events for everyone, whether you be new or a seasoned player. The custom maps and gear are carefully balanced and add huge new areas to explore. Lots of custom pets too! There are always lots of new things to farm for and new gear to work towards, although some of the older players do have a build up of wealth and there are only a few major guilds.

What I like most about heRO is the balance. Custom gears are interesting, but they do not overshadow official gears. Same with monsters and maps. It all feels like it complements the official content. Some of the quests and events are riveting, you can tell a substantial amount of work goes into them. The donation items are chance items and create no gap between people who donate and those who don't. There is no Pay2Win. It's Ragnarok as it should be.

I have played RO, on and off, since it was first released in 2002. In that time, I have bounced around multiple fan servers before landing on HeRO in 2012. The biggest selling point of this server is its effort to add features that have become commonplace in modern MMOs; things like fishing, mining and an allegiance system. Plus, while popular fan server trappings like Warp NPCs exist here, they must first be earned through questing. All in all, it is a version of RO that is second to none.

The server is great! The content is very entertaining! And the community takes it to an even HIGHER LEVEL! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and even when there's few people online in the game, I can still count on Discord. My favorite part is creating new characters to participate in the novice events with others!
