I've played many servers since kRO days around early 2002. Many of them felt like the playerbase was already finished with everything and had no reason to play anymore. Or had bought cashshop items that made them too OP to compete with. This server managed to avoid a lot of flaws other servers have: p2w shops, excessive lag, toxic ingame community, botting, and griefing, among other things. I will never need to look for another server. The owner is entirely dedicated to the server.

To start this review I just wanna thank for the opportunity to have a server which allows everyone to join end game content which they might never got their hands on before. Individual loot for MvP instances (possible for every mvp). Doubled drops for woe materials , also possible to farm a lot of stems pretty quickly by killing custom mobs. Exp modifiers by events and dailyexp, feels like 6x and not 3x server, so it’s way faster. Branch room for some fun. Downside:WoE needs SE.that comes soon!

Joined the server in the middle of February ish from stumbling upon a video made by one of the player in Project Alfheim got me hooked to RO again. It's mainly the party play that got me sticking around as PA offers individual loot in instances. This just means that everyone doesn't have to compete against each other for a loot - it's fair. Love the events (Devil's Square) organized by GM's on frequent basis too!

If you wanna play on a low-rate pre-renewal server, but are tired of: 1 - expanded classes sucking 2 - skills not working as intended 3 - lack of content 4 - lack of QoL changes Stop searching immediately! you just found your server! This server's quality of life changes and content updates are really a gamechanger for pre-renewal. server owners are really passionate about bringing pre-renewal to a new standard of quality

Happy to call Aflheim my new home. While still being Pre-Re it's got a good bit of optimization and changes for many classes and skills. So many great quality of life upgrades as well, such as warps and random gear options. While I do see some folks having trouble with community/GMs, it seems to be stemming from lack of searching prior posts. Do your homework and the community is nice, tho English skills could be a barrier. If you don't speak English, join your language channel on Discord ASAP!

Love the server to death, but man the stability has been a bit whack recently. Besides that, incredible pvm experience, great loot, love the options system, love class balance and economy. I'd say my gripes are the woe scene is very underdeveloped for such a large server (seems there is a lot of work and incentive being put towards that recently so maybe it'll change), and the stability of the server (dropping for a day at a time a couple of times a week recently). nice server, got alot people, got nice economy, some features aded makes way better experience than normal game, easy to solo easy to find party, some problems somehow quickly fixed and reviewed , enjoy playing

Server is quite unique. pre-re with 0 random opt mechanic is fun. GM are helpful and dedicated towards building a healthy ecosystem. the community is alright I guess, they're nice to each other but need to increase them friendliness lvl towards newbie. Economy is great. Lastly, class balance. Mind you that this is RO, and I'm one of those player that accept that "balance" doesn't exist in RPG. Any RO server will always have flaws when it comes to class balance, but at least staffs are trying.

Came back to RO after a long time. Stumbled upon this server. Healthy amount of players, lots of QoL and no P2W. Class balance needs some work, but there are things planned down the line. Overall a great experience. Also, need to work on server downtimes.

I donate and get ahead when playing any RO server, is a rare occurrence when a server hooks you in with no pay 2 win mechanic donation are all cosmetics. I really enjoy the server is what I wanted in an pre-renewal server custom skill changes to make classes more balance. I do wish they implemented kill quest that gives exp, there is a system call Bounty quest but that awards currency for cosmetics. They do updates quite regularly. Only issue i have is the lag that happens intermittently.
