i played anthem 3-4 years ago when it was known as animaro..i had donated for half of my equips..and as a result i was pro. I had lots of fun BUT..later my equips which were on my friend's id got scammed..but the GMs did nothing about it despite my desperate attempts to reclaim them. Present day situation:Let me tell you 1 thing(no offence), this server is dying.the server is fun to play if you donate(500$+).it is NOT newbie friendly!..all the new players are quitting within few weeks..

Just to say you need to pay even for uncard weap/armor The item shop is extremely expensive items = 130 dllrs Not actualized since moscovia (not 3rd classes) OP customized gears, good thing is a lot of ppl :) :/ thats all

For a low rate server, this one is decent at best. I felt a somewhat unfriendly vibe towards new players, from both GMs and veteran players alike. There were a lot of people though, and most were pleasant enough. Couldn't seem to get answers to my questions for long periods of time. Very strange. A lot of features, unfortunately most of which are a bit useless or silly. Events were few and far between/not very fun, at least when I played. All in all, this place is okay. You can find better.

The server does a good job with custom items, but it likely takes a year or two before a new player is able to afford them. GMs are generally mild-mannered, but (especially over aRO forums) they sometimes get snippy. Also, customer service suffers if you're banned from forums. The economy consists of the really rich and the really poor, and WoE is generally dominated by a few guilds. The richer the player, the better they do in WoE. However, the server is almost always up.

AnimaRO used to be a great server I would have to rate that all tens but once it changed to AnthemRO it turn a giant leap downward.. New GM's never help and or never on, never any events, The players are far from friendly, Noone cares for anyone but themselves. Right now This server is horrible. AnimaRO was amazing.

the server is great at soem point, server going back up soon, hopefully new people come on to lighten up the sometime douchey vet players that live in pvp. but yewa its fun, poeple party up and eventually becoem great friends

My first Ragnarok experience starts with this server Ive always admired AnthemRO because because its stable,well constructed community, and considerably fair GMs, forums are always busy as well. Im a very picky person so I wouldnt advise something that isnt at least decent. But from most servers Ive played this is by far the best I wouldnt, couldnt, and havent bothered to find a better home. The server is carefully thought out, but server does have things to work, on always room for improvement.

I played AnthemRO/AnimaRO for 4 years until I got banned and this was the only Ro I played. Well it was a good game. People are friendly excepted when people KoS when you are a noob in pvp. But it feels good getting gear and killing them back. But the Economy was weird the price of stuff kept going up when I started it was 55mil and now it is 85mil. I got my kaho when it was 75mil cause I only cared about leveling. And what Talis is doing now is cool hes helping the noobs make zeny in toy factor

Out of the 3-4 years I've been playing anthemRO, I've enjoyed every minute I've played in it. Best server I've seen so far in my opinion, I would recommend it to anyone. The Game masters are on every once in awhile and everytime they're on, It's always fun! >=)

There are some promising changes and updates for Anthem, including a new, server-exclusive alternative to WoE. However, there is a question of overall difficulty for its other aspects, which can be troubling for those who do not want things TOO easy in a low rate server. Staff is trying, though, eager to do what they can for players. Its a pretty stable and reliable server, barring a few issues (bias, forum attitude, greed, and complacency). Avoid those and you have a lasting server to play on.
