Pre-renewal with custom features, TalonRO is a hallmark in Ragnarok’s history of private servers, having been around for more than 14 years (a quarter of my life in other words), a true testament to how wonderful the community & staff are. Classes are well balanced, highly active PVP / PVM scene, lots of events and monthly updates to keep players entertained. Economy surprisingly still holds well - the market thrives due to the large population, TRO is also newb friendly thanks to Eden quests.

I don't have to worry about Talon going down like other servers I played on. They have enough classic features/look to make me feel nostalgic, since I've been playing RO since 2006. Always someone willing to answer a question. They always give plenty of warning before the server goes down for maintenance, and it's not for very long. Not always a GM response when someone asks, but always a player jumping in to help. A few trolls/rowdy people in chat, but vastly outnumbered by good players. A+!!!

TalonRO is a pre-renewal gem. Most of what I’ve grown accustomed to playing Ragnarok Online back in the day ticks the nostalgia box, thankfully the server doesn’t stray far off from original RO despite there being custom features, and the custom stuff is *actually* better than most official server content (their PvM instances are a prime example of this). Classes are balanced, PvP/WoE is super active, server pop is over the thousands, and the economy is very stable. Highly recommended! :)

Expect to grind 1000s of hours for End Game or dish out $$$ to save the process. With TC prices going down from $1 = 1mill Zeny to $1 = 900k it's going to cost a fortune. The new emulator is not fluid. There are delays on skills which were not there before. GMs shrug off player suggestions. PVP/Woe is lackluster. BG is active at certain times max 20-30 players. Takes ages to sell loots. A lot of nerfing. GMs are not in touch at a player level and are arrogant if you try to correct them.

Very stable server, good for chill play or for hard to extreme grinding, very recommended, no pay 2 win, no imbalance consumables or hypermart items, friendly GMs, active server, great community. Played a lot of server but this one definitely wins my heart, all your efforts will not put to waste, so what are you waiting for? Come and join us! The land of Midgard awaits for you! 9/10 i really enjoyed playing the game with this server, GMs are always active with their players, lots of events. if you're an F2P you'll love this, but if you're an P2W player i don't have idea? the player base of this server are also very welcoming. so if you're planning on getting into ROTalon you might wanna give it a shot! TalonRO ROCKS!!!!

GM react soon if you have a question about the game and they fix the bug soon as possible to keep the player comfortable to play and have fun playing the server. The people in the game are friendly and helping others to enjoy the game .hope that TalonRO keeps going what they're doing so players would be happy playing ragnarok online

Played talon for years, used to be fun until Iduna's patched. Lots of bugs were introduced, and in the process of trying to fix them, they introduce more bugs and break game mechanics that have been there since the very beginning. The GMs are out of touch, that's why they do not understand when players voice their concerns and dismiss them as if it were nothing, turn a blind eye to problems brought up to them, and pretend they do not exist. Caters to people they favor. Lost empathy for players.

Talon is a pretty long standing server. In terms of PvM content - there is a lot to go through however, at some point it feels a bit repetitive. BG is somewhat active and is a super grinding task for coins (esp for newbies). There needs to be more frequent BG Happy Hours or raising some incentive so it doesn't feel like you grind a couple hours for a handful of badges (especially on the losing end). They have a BG/WoE patch incoming so this review is tentative and will be updated accordingly.

Server is a stable low rate and not as p2w as it may initially appear. Although everything could technically be bought with cash, it's not economically feasible for most people to do so thus making the server play to win. That being said, the server is incredibly grindy. Patches are small, conservative changes that will always be far behind community demand. WoE/BG is mostly a miss but can sometimes be great. The admins undervalue PvP content and lack PvP experience to make meaningful changes.
