The most fun low-rate server I have ever played in a long time, and I've been playing this game for more than a decade already. While all the pros are pretty much what everyone else has already said, there are certain cons that prevent this server from becoming the "greatest" pserver of all time: GMs actively refuse to acknowledge that recent lag issues are from the server and not from players (really, ~200 player count drops in the server's population at once is players' fault?).

Nice server, but this is not the original Ragnarok. Basically, 1 Talon Coin = 1$ = 1M zenny with the donation system, anyone can buy any gear with talon coin, along with MVP cards (20$). There is some unbalanced gear, and GM like to mute (skills and chat) you for 3 hrs without warning. However, there are a lot of events, and people are usually friendly, a lot of customs and good stuff. If you don't bother with bad GMs and ultra custom RO, you will like this server. Otherwise, pass on it.

I haven't been playing this server for very long, but in the time I have been playing, I have noticed most of the people are very nice. There are one or two people that are not very friendly, but you have that with pretty much any server you use. I would definitely recommend trying this server. :)

Awesome server, with lots of players online and lots of stores up in all important cities. It is very easy to find parties on it, as it has players from all timezones. Custom monster spawns make zeny farming more interesting and available to occasional players. The existence of a custom reward service makes sure that everyone has the chance of getting that MVP card without having to buy it or kill the mvp himself.

i haven't play this server for very long time. But, when the first time i played TalonRO, it made me remember about my past / my childhood. It just similar with the first time I played RO. All people are nice to me :D. I loved it ~~ Just one thing, sometimes the server is really lag. hehehe.

the server is good, the players are active and the economy is above average, been playing in the server for 6 months now, but the "too much LAG issue" is burning down the happiness. cant enjoy the woe, events, hunting, partying and, leveling once the LAG strikes, so we just log out (play in other server) and come back later to check... the GM's are supportive in many ways... but about LAG problem, we cant get any good feedback or just ignore us,

If many people are complaining about lag, they don't respond (saying it was silly on IRC). On the other hand, if only one is complaining, then there they go. The current GM team aren't doing a good job either: the community worsen because of that (constant !main violations / reminders and etc is enough proof). And the worst development they did is when they crippled the "partying" system by removing the old-hunting board. The flooded !recruit chat is now empty, this promoted solo-ing and B>Leech

Just started, and i love it! xD just now somebody gave me a little help by giving damascus and undershirt which i dont know where to but and even if i know, i dont have zeny to buy haha, well anyways love this server unlike the others that i have played... cheers!

I've been playing ro for 8-9 years now, as far as the server goes it's totally legit. You don't even feel like your on a low rate, economy is one of the best I've seen. Would love to see more events, like novice races, or non-gear/fighting events since not everyone is fully geared, the gms keep a distance which isn't a bad thing. Love the website control panel (amazing) and saves time. Players are charming and diverse, and really helpful and don't get enough credit for making this server amazing

I have played RO on other servers, but was glad to find this one. If has been very reliable with little lag compared to some of the other servers. Even though it is a low rate server, they have special features that make the going easier for players to level and get gear. All in all, I have liked it very much.
