Want parties at any time of day? *Literally* then this server is for you. There are always parties being formed which really adds to the oRO experience. For example, There has been several Thanatos Tower runs per evening for me for the last 10 days. And that's during the slowest hours of the server. People live in Bio3, so once you hit 95 its ez pz to 99. Furthermore, people are always on! Towns are loaded with actual players. Of course you have the alts as well and the AFK Model sprites. COME!

With the current pandemic, we are advised to stay home. Looking back years ago for a good game, I decided to play Ragnarok. But one constraint set me back, I am using MacOS Catalina. I searched for servers catering RO using MacOS and I found this server. Playing in fun and GMs are always active, at least two (2) of them. This server has diverse players from around the world. It has all the good old functions. No instant, all good old classic ragnarok gaming. Thank you.

As of this review, you can't actually register or log in because the Control Panel is broken and the patch server is offline, breaking the custom login system. The staff/GM team has some problems, it's constantly rotating and drama-ridden. The server is alright if you plan on only playing by yourself because there's no real community to speak of - WoE/PvP is completely dead or on life support and the 3 ongoing parties are all stationary wizard+mobbing. Not much to do after you grind for gear.

A new full-client download is provided on our Discord. The login system still works. The Staff consists of people that have been there for years, most since 2014.
There are about 200 people at peak times in 1 castle in Trans WoE. Pretrans WoE numbers have increased over all time. There is a constant flow of parties recruiting.

A few weeks ago nostalgia kicked in and I logged into my old iRO account.
The game was unrecognizable and I felt lost-- not to mention the game felt like it turned into a mobile game cash grab.
Then I came to RMS and found OriginsRO: a pre-renewal and low rate server.
All the joy I felt when I found Ragnarok decades ago came rushing back when I went to go level in Rockers. I haven't left since (the server, not Rockers).
Players are nice, active, and chatty in #main and the economy is great.

This is the longest server that stay and remain good, healthy and alive ever! The community is really open and supportive toward both old and new players, you can ask serious questions about builds, farming spots, other guides in #main and #support channels. People are very nice. The Developers, GM teams, know what they are doing, especially providing good & unique events. Market is very alive and items are available in affordable price. They should add more law enforcers to keep community neat.

Great server with mac support - there's also an official control panel and an unofficial marketplace website for users to track sales of items. Good GM but not that many events. No donation accepted which is a plus.

Really nice Server, lot balance, if you have Problems, you can still ask GM´s and they try to fix your problems. If you want to play WOE there are a lot of Guild´s that do that, Farming is also not overfull and prices are normal.

the server is trans since a good year now. There is very littley content after u have played for 3-5 months. Its stuck on woe fe since forever. Also there is no events happening bg or gm events.
The Pre-Trans woe community is taken hostage by some gms, not implementing true woe traps/quag and other things. There has been rumors that knights will be changed , it wont fix the issue though and just swap the main class from knights to monks. It will still be a custom zerg fest.

Server has been up for 7 years - its a big pro if you want a play and server not to die after few months. Server staff is active and keeps economy in check so no raging inflation. When it comes to players they are helpful and there are a lot of parties - no problems in lvling a FS char. There are also @$$holes (players) - they will drown you in a spoon of water if you dont agree with their vision of how RO should be played. #main - should be also more moderated. All in all - good server to play
