I've played Ragnarok of various flavors since the iRO Beta in 2003/4. The previous incarnation of essenceRO was one of two servers I stuck around for more than a year, and I played it until it closed. This attempt at resurrecting essenceRO has been pretty faithful so far, with the majority of the gameplay features and custom content that hooked me originally. Its economy is still developing, but that can only be fixed with a larger player base. I plan to stay, and invite you to join me.

I love this server -- I've been playing eRO since it's revival and it gets better adn better every single week. The GM's post extensive changelogs before every weekly maintenance, and seriously take into consideration the opinions of the community! They are such a dedicated team, and you can tell they truly care about the community. They're implementing so many unique features only available to eRO, it's definitely worth checking out! Oh, and HATS SO MANY HATS!

Literally the best RO server I have had the honour of playing. I played it years back and when it was shut down, I was heartbroken but now it's back and it's better than ever!! Hourly events, great rates, and amazing and down to earth gms! I love this place more than I love my cat, my guys. Seriously though, I would most definitely recommend this server. Still a great server. The admin is amazingly friendly and always want feed back from her community. The game feels polished with its new palettes, they even have 3rd class mounts which is great. Overall great server to try out and play!

I still see a lot of GM changes, guild competition is not the best right now, the server is too new to see. I want more strick rules to be apply for cheaters. A lot of work to be done but still i like eRO.

Great mix of nostalgia for old Essence players with classic quests and minigames, and new content & class balance. People that like third classes but dislike Renewal definitely need to check this server out!

Love this server. Played on the original back in like 08-09 and a lot is just how i remember SA still not there but heard its coming. couple of the older guilds are here. Wish i seen Cake Velocity or NoMoreHeroes but thats a personal issue. Corrupt GMs - unorganized events and promoting plagiarism. Waaay too many bugs for an open beta and slow progress in fixing and updating content. There was a zeny exploit at the opening of the server and it took 2~3 weeks + many players begging and exploiting for it to get noticed and finally fixed. Many players have been disappointed by false hopes.. Don't make the same mistakes I did.

Every GM has a player account and they are all on the zeny ladder GM Hank = I sell meth to children/jifo GM rose = Vide GM Raven = Tempy GM Jazz = angie Godsend= Ramen/Random Shiroe = Kira The server is filled with glitches and exploit and nothing is getting fixed players pointing out zeny exploit won't get fixed untill its too late. Admin Kiwi don't give a sh*t cause she's made tons of money with donations I'm glad i could paypal refund.
