I've been here for about 10+ years, on and off due to real life matters, and they still never failed to amaze me content-wise. Updates barely ever meant the old items become obsolete; they simply meant a different playing style and other char builds are made more interesting. Sure, economy and WoE competition aren't as good as they were a few years back, but the events held by the GM team makes up for it. Lastly, for a server that's been running for almost 15 years, heRO doesn't feel old at all.

I don't feel welcomed in this server not only is there no one around even on main chat but they went against the rules of dual clienting which i don't know is allowed for merchants which IS the server population. They dont even sell items worth a dam for new players there is nothing even going on but people just aimlessly farming and looting. This server is dead i have no idea how the server admin is still able to run this server without getting in trouble.

Its hard to find a server like this one, at this point Ragnarok Online is pretty much a Retro Game already, but if you are really looking for a stable server with active guilds and a nostalgic experience including brand new custom items and places, HeRO is the best choice right now, GMs are always doing events and they keep it interesting all the time, i appreciate the effort than they do for the people that play this server, LONG LIVE HeRO!

This is a HIDDEN GEM! I was looking for a good low pre-re server that wasn't more of the same, but this one really hooked me. The community is great, the staff even better. The amount of content is stunning. Very polished and balanced, many thing to do. Believe me or not, this server has been up for 13 years, i just can't believe...Why have i never heard of this server before? I do not know but what i do know, is that this server deserves so much more.

Lots of renewal content balanced for pre-renewal. Lots of custom content as well, including an entire storyline thats been going on for years, where you select light or dark and it will change some of you npc interactions, quests, and gear. Community is for the most part very friendly, although we could do with some more faces around! GMs pretty much always available between the server and discord. Overall a good pre-re experience, while getting to see a decent amount of renewal stuff.

This is in my opinion the best server there is for pre renewal ragnarok, extremely friendly community, GM's always around and easy to reach in game and on discord. Server has perfect balance between custom and vanilla content, there is plenty of custom gears/mobs/maps/events etc, but at the same time, it's not like custom things are OP, it feels like a proper, developed pre-re ragnarok. I've played ragnarok on and off for 10 years, and I ALWAYS come back to HeRO, for content and atmoshpere.

Great server and really nice community! Everyone is really helpful and always willing to help both old and new players. The only downside is that there aren't many guilds out there who are interested in playing WoE. But besides of that, this is a great low rate server, with customs not interfering with overall gameplay, so take a chance and give it a try! =)

People behind the scenes are always doing something to improve the server. Players are all helpful, just ask anything on main. These days veterans seems to be on and off, great chance for new players/guilds to take over the server or create new competitive environments. XD Give yourself a chance to love this server full of both official and custom contents!! ^^

Can't seem to quit this server or move to another server. Everything is just so well designed, just need more players. We got tons of player-held events due to the nicely balanced event bags, so this really helps eventfulness by a tonne. GMs a re not always available in game, but they are quite quick to respond in forums. TOH still remains the best monthly event in possibly any RO server anywhere. At least try it out once and i am sure you will understand why HeRO is such a lovable server.

heRO is the only server i always come back for! the customization, well balanced stuffs, great community, and the nostalgia! i recommend people to try the server and do not hesitate to ask some help! (make sure read the server rules first!). We are welcome you to join our family.
