What started out as a pretty noble project to emulate iRO with rAthena has ended in disaster. Don't bother with this place and forget the reviews below. Sapling hasn't received an update in months, and thus very little quests/classes work properly. The admins have left it and have not seen fit to stay in-touch with their community through their own forums, so nobody really knows what is going on. RMS admins should check out their forums to confirm. I'm very sad it has come to this.

The GMs are very responsive. I experienced very little lag and there was always a warning for maintenance related spikes. Not much custom content. A mild FF7 theme lets you add 'materia' upgrades to equipment. Didn't look TOO unbalancing. A coin trading system makes it easy to obtain rare headgears without donating, making Prontera look rather exotic. Frequent GM/auto events. The server is for now largely German but does try hard to advertise as international. I had particular a good time.

If only there were more servers like these that offered a *real* challenge. 'It's not the destination but the journal that matters', that saying counts only too well for this place. Too many servers spoil players with easy access to everything they need. This place does not. It puts you right back at where it began instead. A long lasting, intensely rewarding experience.

The Bad: There's been no server management for a while now, no active GM team working on the server or managing the forums. Asking questions generally doesn't result in an answer that's not a community effort. The Consequences: Bugs not being fixed + a somewhat uncertain future The Awesome: Despite its flaws it's still the best attempt at a full Renewal, true lowrate and uncustomised server since SaplingRO. I'm not kidding, I don't know where else to play. This is as good as it get.

It's been a long time coming. Full Renewal. No resets, no customs, no ways to cheat yourself around anything. Getting started is hard. Grinding is hard. Farming is hard. Nothing feels more rewarding than this. The best? To be fair, the server hosting could be a little better. It's not half bad either though. The GM spends a lot of time and money to keep this place running, 24/7. In fact, it's been a long time since I came across such a caring and active Admin/GM. He cares, so I care. Rockin' <3

Haven't been on this server long, but there's some stuff worth pointing out. First of all, no problems with Windows 8, everything runs solid. Secondly, it comes with a nice, classy installer, which most servers lack today. Lastly, no stat or skill resetters here, nobody can cheat their way to a level 99 character. No autoloot either, so Greed is good. The bad: it's obviously only just starting and players are a rare sight. But I see no reason yet to quit here yet. Hope you'll give it a try.

This one server is special. I mean, you simply have to admire the 1x1x1x type of server without autoloot or resetters of any kind. Every action matters, every skill counts. Every choice weighs. Because of all that, this is probably the most 'real' server out there. Do I mind that this server is limited to pre-rebirth conditions? Not in the least. The only thing that could make it more real would be perma-death!

Decent and seasoned server, though I wish new content was added a tiny more frequently. Feels a bit.. abandoned at times. Now for instance there's been a Halloween event running and it's December 3rd. Harmless, but I don't know. Not the most eventful server maybe? Only uncustomized lowrate server left that's okay enough to play on.
