I've played RO servers on and off since 2003, and this is hands down the best managed server I've played. The server is stable and available, even with 1000-2000 players at any given time. The staff are professional, highly talented, and consistent--you feel like you're dealing with a team, rather than a bunch of individuals. Economy is decent, and donations seem fair. No autoloot is a bummer, though.

Fun server if you're looking for all of the nostalgia, with none of the grind. Plus generous amounts of QoL and a few carefully chosen customizations to keep the meta interesting without feeling too foreign. GM/server owner is extremely responsive to feedback and implements improvements regularly. Players seem friendly, but more competitive, rather than social. I was looking for/expecting more of the latter with rates like these. If you're more of a social player, come join me!
