I quite enjoyed my stay at the server. Lovely staff, familiar faces from other servers, the sped up recovery is amazing. But the down side is that the server is an incredibly lonely place to spend time in. Most of the people online are shops, and the rest are people logging into multiple clients to buff themselves. I will come back if the server population grows, but so far it feels like a single player game and it’s depressing.

this is definitely misleading to a degree. while we do allow dual-clienting I know for a fact the server has anywhere from 560-600 unique players in a rolling 3 day period. and you can see the online between shops/players at any given time by typing /w.
What is true, is that party play has been hard to get started here at times. but we're introducing new content that hopefully fixes this. One of my primary goals is to bring people together so we won't every give up on that.

This server provides a modified classic server experience, the customizations are pretty decent, it is not game breaking but provides a more diverse build option. The community is nice, don’t expect free things because chances are you get not getting any, which is fine. I have not experienced the toxic mentality here, no one is pretending to be nice, no power tripping admins, GMs or discord mods as far as I can tell. Top guilds gets everything and funnels down. RMT is very much a problem as well

Lawsuit in place but that doesn’t change that this is definitely an above average well crafted server. RO is a community game and this is where the issue is, Discord mods power trips, it is understandable that when a server has been running for a while people become friends, even mods, but that took away all their objectivity and it just become a “find a cause to ban the ones my friend dislikes”. There’s literally a rule saying you are not allowed to question the mod’s decisions. *Out of space*

Just like with GMs, if you see a moderator abuse their powers, please report them on the forum or directly to Nova. That rule is in place because mods are there to enforce rules and rapidly de-escalate conflicts, not get mired in them. While they have the authority to act on behalf of staff, they are regular players who must act on the spot. They can make mistakes. That said, disagreeing with a judgement doesn't always come from a place of perfect objectivity, especially if a friend is affected.
