"Excellence," "perfection," "flawless," these words, and more like them, are well suited to this 'beau-ideal' of a server. Never before and, I dare say, never again will a midrate server reach such high levels of quality. eRO truly stands as a paragon, the final shining bastion of hope, among a sea of sub-par servers.

Server is great -- friendly people, solid rates, events are fairly regular, and competition seems solid for PVP and WoE alike. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to play on an inferior server (every server is inferior to this one) and also it seems very ridiculous that I would need to write so many words to describe this to you.

In order: The server lags sometimes (bad spikes felt server wide.) The community has been making rape jokes by subbing the word grape for a few days and are generally unfriendly anyway. The evens happen often but some never fire and other are just awful. The owner of the server has a RMS Hall of Shame sig for a reason, and that is evident even now as he lies about not being corrupt anymore. Yeah, right. The economy is awful (see: corruption) and there are 2 big guilds in woe. Champions rule PVP.

Server seems really cool, but the listed rates are misleading. Once you hit 95, the exp curve becomes insane -- all the high EXP mobs had their exp nerfed so now high orcs give you .1% per at level 95 basically. Your only options are to MVP for ~5% each or play BG for exp scrolls. If I wanted to play a low rate, I would have joined a low rate. Otherwise a really cool server with some good ideas and very friendly staff.

Some of the reviews being left seem a touch harsh to me. There are a few bugs here and there, but for the most part the server has been incredibly stable even with 150+ players hammering it in these first few days. The owner, Kiwi, is also very responsive in Discord and is clearly working quite hard to shore up most of the remaining major issues this week. Tira's eRO, in its early days, was incredibly fun. This reboot has a very similar spirit about it. It feels good to be back!
