This is quite possibly the best server I've played on EVER. I've been on the server less than a month and have already found myself immersed with friends, have made significant economic progress, and have participated in a few events. Classes and customization are done in such a way that the game remains balanced, and that success is reliant on cooperation rather than sheer force. I've heard a lot of people say that they "had to go it alone," but I have to wonder, did they ever even say ,"Hi!"?

I'm here for more than 1 year, and I can say it was the best server I've ever played. Of course it's still good, but lately there are no good updates, GM's are only modifying the good stuff and making it a bit worst. Economy, which was really balanced when I join, is now getting screwed, because of desperated players selling things at the lowest price possible.WoE's aren't the competitive anymore.Staff?!They listen, but the only one who solves probles is Tira(she's awesome).The rest is pure crap

Been playing for 2 years and It's definitely the most enjoyable server I have been on. The server offers a multitude of entertainment such as the minigame events and custom hat quests. Server is usually very stable and rarely runs into problems, disconnecting issues last year were caused by a fault with the hardrive which is now replaced. The community is quite friendly providing you don't tick them off with spamming the main channel. Woe is competitive. Could do with more player events though.

EssenceRo, use to be a great Server, I have been playing this server for sometime now. Recently I have been Banned, not only did I get banned by my whole side of my Dorm did also, GM never fixed anything, got back to us (32 of us) as far as everything else, its a really a server where you play by yourself, everyone is an @$$hole GM Never ever on, if they are on, they only sometimes reply to you. Classes are Balance. Guild Competition has gone down. ): so long Ero

To be completely and brutally honest, aside from the overabundance of hat quest their are no major blemishes with this server. I have been playing on this server for the last 2 years and the only major problem this server had was a small economy hiccup that was quickly taken care of by the GMs. The community is rather friendly, the GMs have always responded and are quick to fix any problems Ive had and the game isn't biased toward donators. Essence definitely one of the better servers out now.

i love this server with any custom mob n' items it's different than RO before i think u just download it n' feel what u feel u're haahahahhahaa i hope all GM on this server will develop new custom many item n' mobs many more.......... ok friend.... losta masta...... lets make things better ^^

On balance, EssenceRO is still one of the best servers out there. It's expertly balanced and planned, and the attention to detail is remarkable. For critiques: guild towns have partitioned the community greatly, which is really unfortunate; the GM team gets a lot of criticism, but they do their jobs very well and work as a great team and can execute their duties very well. The Main channel is full of trolls, often going out of their way to flame anyone with a legit question. Great server overall

I've been playing eRO for a little over two years, and I've definitely found it to be the friendliest, most balanced server I've played. There is a good host of GM's, and at least one of them will be online to help players most of the time. The server is quite stable, and rarely experiences lag. The guild competition is, and always has been, very fierce. The economy runs quite smoothly, and there are a LOT of customs on this server which make it highly entertaining to play. My favourite server!

The GMs are unhelpful, rude. Main admin is sexist, telling me to "stick a tampon in my vagina and come back tomorrow". I was banned for speaking out against the GMs abusing their powers (Banning,Muting,Killing ETC). I was killed 70 times, muted, kicked and then temp. banned, threatened to permaban for speaking out against them. (This was stated by Admin in IRC before he banned me from IRC.) Admin claims to not remember threatening me with a ban. Don't play unless you want to avoid GMs.

There is never a reason for anything and there is never a reason for doing something especially if you're a GM. GM's seem to forget things and dont care that they've forgotten it then came out with something completley wrong / opposite of what you're saying/said. Events = seasonal i guess. WoE = not worth it to be honest, people only play because they've nothing else to do i guess. Socialness = Ruined by private towns that are password protected. Updates that are usefull = good joke.
