I write this as a final farewell to the server. I donated probably over $1,000 over the years. However, at this time, the server is very much dead and offline. The owner, and main financial support, has retired, leaving behind a lot of mayhem and a broken economy. He was not only sexually harassing the female staff, but giving out free +10 items to his guild members. So much drama... I'm glad avoided most of it, playing quietly in Niff with my high priest. So sorry to see you go like this, ARO.

I couldn't agree more with below two reviews. This server is pretty dead now. GM seldom online, Economy, Guild competition are totally fall apart. Some of the rare MVP card such as FBH ( Fallen bioshop), Thana card, gloom card, are Over Power and ruined the class balance. Although these OP cards are owned by minority of players, but GM do not have intention to nerf it. Some skills are OP too, such as asura strike under bragi mode. Please reconsider if you are thinking to join this server.

The server is just too old. The comunity is very friendly and helpful but a lot of these chars often just perma afk. A lot of older players running around with insane op gear (headgears with multiple +20 stats; tons of mvp cards; godlikes; etc). And this gear is activated during the main WoE.. Also no chance in MvP hunts against them by any chance. Some players have billions on this server and zeny generating methods are nerfed as hell (mastella, dex foods, gift boxes, etc). Just frustrating

Terrible server. Updates about 2-3 a month with events/contests. But the economy is garbage, and the player count is in the 20's, and the rest are auto-traders. only 2 active GM's. No such thing as events since last year. They have a match me event, to win stupid crap. Server relies on donations, and the essential stuff costs about 200$ to be competitive..... if there was a woe scene or pvp scene.

Well the server is usually always up and not laggy. However, it may be due to a dead population that it is not laggy. There are only like 10 non venders on whenever I'm on. Mostly only vets left and they arent the friendliest. Have NEVER seen any kind of GM presence in the last couple months. The High GMs and administrator have disappeared; I thought two of them retired but apparently they are on the staff page? No new custom content. Due to the lack of players, everything is just going downhill

this server is fairly lacking people and seem to want to care for veteran players. given out more events that benefit the rich players more and more rather than helping new players. the GMs are nice but I feel they look for every little reason to get rid of players that want to help the server as they assume they know everything at times. the economy is very poor as it's nothing but expensive items ranging from 80-240 million zeny items while people like new players are forced to farm one item

I've played AnimaRO since summer of 2005. I was 10 years old. It was so fun playing back then and it was so much easier to get gear if you were a noob. Then around 2009 I got banned for something I did not do, the GMs did not handle the situation fairly at all. But now the games Economy and Population is so bad that its sad I really feel sorry for new players and I don't think the GMs really seem to care.The GMs do give weekly updates tho thats the 1 and only good thing.Hope the game gets beter~

I have been playing for about 6 or 7 years already. Though I will try to be fair when it comes to rating this server. Though the stability of the server does not have to do with the server name change, it still has very few people playing and yes, unfortunately, I agree with Bloody here. I do find the GMs VERY bias as well and the owner of the server seems to be covering it up. GMs DO indeed favor those who are close to them. GMs have high availability but only to those who are their friends.

The server itself is very unstable (it had to change its name several times) from AnimaRO to AnthemRO to AnimusRO and now, AnesisRO. I have actually noticed that the GMs are a little bias when it comes to players. They seem to favor players who actually brown nose them and praise them like gods. The economy is also in a very bad shape. Everything is over priced. Starting players will also have hard time getting help due to its low server population.
