I write this as a final farewell to the server. I donated probably over $1,000 over the years. However, at this time, the server is very much dead and offline. The owner, and main financial support, has retired, leaving behind a lot of mayhem and a broken economy. He was not only sexually harassing the female staff, but giving out free +10 items to his guild members. So much drama... I'm glad avoided most of it, playing quietly in Niff with my high priest. So sorry to see you go like this, ARO.

This server somehow has 100+ players but feels like it has 10 or less. It's because 100+ players are vending or afk. All items and cards can be bought. I've seen this work on other servers but right now It just makes their current population lazy and doesn't do any sort of community based work. I've been playing this and just almost now reaching 99 and still havn't seen anyone grinding or farming besides me which is very lonely. This is an earlyish review so I probably will end up changing it.

I've played this server on and off since 2008, now i'd like to say that this server has been the best server I've ever played on. Unfortunately many players have left the server and moved on, thankfully the GMs have made many new great changes that have are for the better. I would like to see this server thrive like it was before when it was at the top with 1k+ players online.

I have been playing on this server for 4 years now. In my opinion, of all the servers I have played on, this one has had my loyalty for the longest time, and will continue to do so. Right now we may not have the player base we have enjoyed when we were at the top, but we still have no difficulty in providing an amazing experience of the Ragnarok world. Been playing on this server since 2,007 (it was AnimaRO). Left for a while and now have been back for many years. The server is undergoing promising changes. GM's are friendly, helpful and available almost all the time. Information about the server customization, items and monsters is readily accessible (nice improvement), service tickets are solved quickly (one of the reasons why I left back when) population is still low, more players are needed. They'll come when they test the improvements.

Haven't played for a while but many people have been asking me what server should they play? I have and will continue to say anesisro. The GMs on this server have an active presence, led by Merkel. If you get to know each of the GMs they are honestly the kindest people ever. Server has tickets that players can submit if they are having any issues. And those tickets are usually settle in days. AnesisRO has seen a lot of changes over the years. Staff change, name changes, client changes... but throughout out it all they've strived to create a great experience for their players. I'm confident the new admin and his team will do good here. They promise changes and create results asap. Atm they're revamping the site, forums and converting to the Hercules client. Tickets are answered rapidly and events are commonplace. Check it out. You'll be glad you checked out out!

Lots of improvement to server since our new GM,Merkel taking over. It is pleasant to see presence of PR GM in main town everyday. They are helpful and sometimes they create some events (MVP party, ET run and such). Community of ARO is friendly. PVP and WOE scene are dead. Currently,there are one big guilds with 17+ players and small guild with 3 players involved in woe scene.This is a great server, by increasing players population (hopefully), I believe we can revive ARO economy,WOE & PVP scene.

There recently have been a lot of improvements in this server. I can see that the new staff are doing what they can to help the server. Im quite surprised that there are available gm's ingame everytime i login and ask questions. Since I already have everything that I need ingame, i just login every once in awhile and check if there are new stuff or events going on. I hear there's gonna be a big change thats gonna happen to the server, We will just have to wait and see.
