Pros : -many people playing -weekly fun quests to keep players engaged in RO content -very stable server for NA -fun events with friendly GM Cons : -heavy pay2win -somewhat toxic community -too much focus on a game mode that is not actually RO -horrible woe times for anyone living in NA timezone Its worth a try, you can have a fun time but there is always the looming feeling that you're just a little slave for the big spenders that can buy billions of zeny with their dollars.

Lawsuit in place but that doesn’t change that this is definitely an above average well crafted server. RO is a community game and this is where the issue is, Discord mods power trips, it is understandable that when a server has been running for a while people become friends, even mods, but that took away all their objectivity and it just become a “find a cause to ban the ones my friend dislikes”. There’s literally a rule saying you are not allowed to question the mod’s decisions. *Out of space*

I've been with NovaRO for quite a time (I came from LimitRO). I stopped playing and just visit from time to time. I'm just overwhelmed with the renewal updates and I can't keep up. I'm a solo player. Wishing there is a pre-renewal server from NovaRO!

It is a really good server. I'll probably not even try to play anymore if this one end, cuz in all the others server I found very childish admins and here I didn't have this problem (yet) . Also saw a lot of people saying this server is pay to win and I'm still trying to process how? I never put a cent in this game and I'm end game, with a wonderful guild and meet a lot of awesome people. It's a good server, I like it here. I always invite frinds to try it. Could update a little faster tho

The server is up 99% of the time. Community is okay, not good, not bad either. There are 2 types of GMs: The ones that are pretty much event bots and then the more "important" Administration which can be extremely toxic and has no real connection to the community whatsoever; rAthena Developer Tokei is pretty much solo carrying the server. The Economy is fine, normal items are easy to get, MVPs/Cash points have been inflating though. Unfortunately, WoE has been dying. Overall 6 or 7/10 I'd say

sadly theres Gms not able to support players, or just say to open a ticket which takes ages to get a reply on, especially the event GMs not doing anything else beside events, those shouldnt be Gms IMO - also theres alot Event GMs not keeping their gm acc secret - also my ping here in india sucks but its still playable - MH force u to play specific classes, on specifc builds - Costumes are Amazing though

NovaRO has so many things I love about it. It has amazing minigames and custom built things such as Monster Hunt (yeah, like the game), random events almost everyday hosted by GM, discord integration, and more. The population size is also huge, and that matters a lot in RO. However it falls short eventually due to the team behind NovaRO not listening to suggestions and class balance, mostly for expanded classes and mages. WoE/PvP is kind of inactive, but does have ranked. Overall, huge potential

I would say so far great server honestly I been on worse reason I gave the community rating 5 out of 10 has only to do with my play style of keeping to my self becuse im sick of all drama all damn mmo´s have. Honestly a Solid server only gripe I have with it is the name pruning or what ever they call it. I mean I often take breaks from mmo´s and lets say I take 2-4 month break becuse real life I will have not lose my name ? No normal mmo has ever done that but then that private servers for you.

What destroyed it for me are all the noob npc's where you can just warp to whatever place you want, warp back just before you die, heal up to max hp/sp and go right back where you were and continue, rinse and repeat. I don't know why on earth people even sell potions. going to stay away from servers that offer free warping and free healing. it's game breaking. zero challenge. Not to mention all the p2w items. (as if you need those honestly with all the babysitting this server does)

Review Update: Came back to try the server again after 6 months. Played for 2 months so far. Server is still heavily focused on cashshop but it is masked by the mindless grind mechanics that are implemented and the market where donators are selling cash shop ores to make a quick buck. The progression pace is sluggishly slow if you do not donate since it has a domino effect directly into progression. I would suggest against playing this server if you have a full time job & a social life
