Sure, there are quite a few trolls in this server, and the GMs arent that friendly, but there's always someone willing to help. GMs DO mute/ban, sometimes without reason. There are some disabled 3rd job skills. Many of the events are seasonal events, along with the occasional GM/Player hosted event. Honestly, the population fell from 1000+ about a year ago. This server needs to get its gears back into shape, and I would love to see that happening. It used to be one of the best.

Community is very rude to newbies. I never saw events. Game master ban me when I ask why I was muted then he bragged about it on main i hear. Gm hardly available. Only to ban. They are complete jerks & they never ban his friends when they cheat in pvp room. Economy is sh*t for new players. too expensive and its impossible for newbies to mvp because rich mvp card users pk your team. Woe is terrible, 3 guilds only and all using modified GRF for spamming. Sinx & Stalker no good, thx to 160+ maya-P

EssenceRO has players from all over the word. The community is pretty dead atm, it's mainly older players who log in to WoE/PvP and to converse with each other. As a new player, it's pretty hard sometimes as the economy is expensive but you can buy every item you need IF you have the funds. The community can be rude sometimes to newbies asking questions and the GMs need to log on a bit more. Classes are balanced although some 3rd job skills are disabled. Item customisation is fantastic though.

The main reason I'm reviewing this is plain and simple - I don't want people getting into the spot I have. The server is pretty good, all in all. The community - that is, the non-GM players - are friendly, for the most part. But with player interaction, it goes downhill from there. You've got people who brown-nose the server owner all day, and Paradox himself is a complete @$$hole. The other GMs are okay - server owner, is a son of a b*tch. I don't speak for everyone, but I miss Tira.

Just don't bother downloading. Many people are leaving this server, The only people left are dirt poor newbies and filthy rich players who are close friends with the GMs New players are often made fun of by staff and banned for the laughs. Events still happen at times ,but sadly it has become widely accepted that the only way to win is to be friends with GMs Recent changes have made it impossible for new players to catch up to the "richplayers" GMs let their friends cheat in woe/pvp

When server is down can be down for hours. I met plenty of troll players. Most players and GMs ignored me when i asked a question, very unfriendly and rude. Hardly any events. Mostly seasonal stuff happens. I have seen many players trying to reach an understanding with the Staff but have been punished and made fun of. Gms hardly offer support. Players asking for too much support often get banned, muted, or jailed. Unstable Market: Items rise in price not decrease. Only 4 guilds Woe.

GM does a bad job. The MVPing system is messed up. Becareful to those playing with a wireless connection , you will be held responsible for any misdeeds that other players with the same connection did and guess what , the GMs wont give u back ur ID if u're banned since it "your responsibility where and how you play".

You guys should ignore the other review. All of them is totally BS. For example. GM Availability, there is a new GM and he always online. Looking for event? Yes we really don't have that much! but there is 1 forums going on. So there is really event that GM made. Class balance? Oh we really have a GREAT class balance. For example, you can't even use 3rd job skill on pvp map? How GREAT is that? <3 *So there is no reason it's OP*.. That's about it. So in my side EssenceRO is really a great server!

EssenceRO has terrible GMs who ban you for ridiculous sh*t like pvm, being accused of cheats without any proof etc. They can't even give legitimate reasons as to why people are banned. You can never get a hold of them either, they're always afk in game and on IRC. There has not been any substantial updates since 2009. The economy is horrible, and there's countless MVP cards. As for the community, it's nonexistent. WoE here is 2 guilds fighting over the emp. The term "GVG" is not on this server

I played this server for almost 3 years now and what i can say is that this server is well balanced and have plenty of friendly and helpful staff and players. Stability is good too except for occasional lags but this is very minimal. Server uptime is good. Game play and WOE is great. MVP card uses especially on woe is limited with a pointing system which disables the use of several mvp carded gears during woe which is very good. Plenty of events and mini games. Headgear disguises are awesome
