Essence is one of the better servers I've experienced in my RO career. GMs deal with players and issues in a responsible and mature fashion, more than can be said for other midrates around atm. Some occasional player dramas but community generally friendly and helpful. Abundance of imaginative custom content to keep you busy for the long haul, and solid 3rd class implementation. Overall, a great place to play (and lots of colorful and original equip!)

This serer is one of the best I have played.The GMs are often there or its easy to find them on forum or mail, and it is filled with customs things you always expect on a server and many job changes and skills for balance. Not many events other than automatic but may be more as seems to be more now than in recent months. Most things in essence can be said 9/10 except some unfrendly players in community but most are helpful to new players. Great!!!

I've played on this server for a long time and I can say it's one of the best servers I've played. Essence had a few bad periods like every other server, but it always pulled through. The Staff continues to work hard on the server and tries to improve as much as they can. The activity of GMs in-game has also been increasing again lately too, which is another positive thing. Everyone should give this server a try, it's worth your time.

Have not been playing this sever for a very long time, but so far it is wonderful. GM staff very responsive to problems and dedicated to the server, keep players updated and treat as equal. Class balance great, economy is strong. Community seems to welcome new players and main chat alwas active and full of helpful people. Server was had some stability problems recently but now all new hardware, since then no lag and no downtimes. Great server.

Server has had a few issues staying up, but communication was good during downtime. GMs are friendly and helpful. Generally friendly community, all servers have a few bad eggs. Economy is good, not too easy to be rich, but not incredibly difficult either. Website vend search is convenient.

The people from my country really like the server but , actually the server is so many time offline and we wanna play in the minigames and others but the gms are really friendly and is the most stable server i ever see xD

An on and off RO player for years, I'd say this is the most unique server I've been on. No OP'ed donation items, a large assortment of custom hats/items/monsters and a wonderful GM team. Very nice and helpful. The community itself is great (but not perfect :P) Events happen here and there, but more so lately. Server down often but only due to server upgrade just recently. Not in a guild, so no comment on guild competition. Overall a great server.

I've been playing eRO about as long as it's been around, and I'm quite happy with the server. Despite the current lack of WoE competition (A couple guilds pretty much rule things, and make life difficult for other guilds), PvP is pretty well balanced, with extensive customization to skills for most classes resulting in a fun gameplay environment. MVPing is also tweaked, requiring groups instead of the usual Asura Champs. Could use a few more events, but otherwise pretty great!

I've been playing this server for a little over 2 years now, and have enjoyed my stay here so far. A majority of the time the server is Stable. I'd like to see more events then there has been as of recent. I'd also like to see more competition in woe then what there has been as of recent but I've also seen many awesome woes here. The GMs for the most part are available and are helpful an friendly. If your looking for a friendly custom server with many things to do this is where you need to be.

Essence has had me solidly for 2 years now, and I've never been on a better server. The GMs are always as helpful as they can be and don't take sides in player disputes. They're constantly providing permanent solutions for any problems with gameplay or with the server! On top of that, WoE is competitive and insanely fun. There's always someone in a town willing to help, and there's always something happening. I'm proud to be here as an experienced player of private servers!
