GMs have been spamming recently asking members to rate EssenceRO. It is a server, with a lot of players. Like anything in life, depends on who you mix with. Overall the group of players I am with, I enjoy their company. Why did I rate the GMs so badly? I just made a suggestion to a GM that would improve the gameplay for many players, all I got was "?" and was ignored. They really don't care.

I am playing essenceRO for nearly more than one year, with forced breaks in it. Even though it's midrate and I'm used to play on highrates I love this server. We have a friendly gameteam, a sympathic server owner, nice gameplay and MANY MANY MANY headgears. For me as a headgear lover is this heaven. Also some customs have nice effects, so it isn't just style. I still love eRO and I'm going to stay as long as this server exists!

In general, if you are planning to just play on this server casually, it is a fun place to be. Just do not expect the GMs to help much as they play favouritism to their own pals and pretty much ignore anyone else. So if you are good at sucking up to GMs, this is the place for you to be. If you want a fair and just server, look else where.

This server is great in class balance and jam packed woes but is among the most unfriendly communities I have ever seen, which is probably due to the guild towns and no word filter. And the staff try wayyy to hard on making mvps harder, yet there is still tons of mvp/mini boss cards in the server making the economy unbalanced. WoE is just too packed for me, no room for the little guys, and is only an hour long with one castle area available. I do not recommend this server to anyone.

EssenceRo is a stable server that gives you an totally experience in RO gaming. With 3rd jobs implemented, they've managed to make the server still balanced. I've been playing the server for a year now. And all I can saw is that the server is only flawed in one aspect. Safety and Security. An example i like to give would be KSers and hackers are prevalent in this server. The problem is that the GMs dont do anything about it. Which really sucks XD. Just a word of advice. choose another server.IMO

The custom items and mobs ensure that theres a lot of content to play through. The community is pretty unfriendly, grief-play is really all that the majority of the players know. WoE is uncompetitive and boring, you won't be able to compete unless you want to edit your .grf or wpe. Some class balance has been done but the admins don't seem to understand the purpose of the classes they're tweaking and they break more than they fix. Wish I could rate it higher this server is a lot of fun over all.

eRO is a nice server if you are into questing. PvP is a gang war which is kind of common so... Never spoken to a GM in game, they aren't around often to my knowledge. My major issue is with the rude, offensive material broadcasted and in main chat, homophobic slurs etc are commonplace. If you don't mind drama it's all good, even within social guilds it happens ALOT. It's kind of difficult to find your niche as well, really clique like. LAGS to the point of Dcing especailly during SA not my ISP!

I think that eRO is a very good server on an overall basis. Though the GMs aren't always available, they're very helpful when arnd. Also Main chat makes life easier with help always arnd the corner. There is a lot of customization, with over 500(?) custom equips/cards and a lot of care being taken to ensure class balance with a lot of Skill changes. Also WOE/PVP is quite balanced but I don't PVP too often to know much. Features such as the Survival and Mini-game arena are a good addition.

Played in this server for almost 2 month . Have no intention to quit . A really great server . Good economy , good community . Lots of custom quest ! Why do ppl despise a great server ? A sentence to all RO players . If u have been server jumping all the time and couldn't find a great server , stop by EssenceRO for a fun treat !

Essence Ro is a great server if you play with people you know.It lags periodically. The community is kind of friendly outside of PvP except on Pk/MvP maps. People who are just trying to gather materials on these MvP maps get "Bullied" by some jerk who gets a kick off of killing a person who doesn't even want to fight them. PvP on essence ro is more party vs party/player than player vs player.custom wing quest are irritating cause most of the items are easy to get expect for one or two Mvp drops
