This server is terrible. A bunch of GMs get hired that do nothing at all to benefit the server. The head GM, Paradox, aka Nik, is probably the worst example of what a GM ought to be. Ignorant and abusive with GM powers. The only thing he's good for is the slight updates to the server and the addition of new, useless hats. Sits in town nuking people all day, talking sh*t all night. The WoE seen here is terrible, PvP probably worse, what's more, there is no BG. RIP HatRO, eat sh*t Paradox+GM Team.

people are horrible and gms are never on. they lock down 3rd classes where you most need them. if you need an item good luck becaues everybody over charges by 1000000000000000000000000000. the event seem thrown together at the last moment. i havent seen one woe yet. and if your trying to look for a party get ready to wait

This server... Its not great. Its playable but everybody is a duchebag. Like 90% of the community is not noob friendly. I dont mean noob friendly as in giving you items and free sh*t.. but like directing you to a custom npc that you need to know where it is. I couldnt find the warper in prontera, even know it was right in front of my face and when i asked an LK he just did his /hmm and walked away.. i later found the warper lol. Just a whole bunch of little bad things come togetherandmakeit suck

this server fails. they implemented the 3rd job but fail to balance their system with this feature, so they disable most of its skills. also, a good mid rate server should takes around 2-3 years of gameplay for a player to owns everything. but this one should takes around 5-6 years, because MVP cards aren't available for donation, and the drop rate is 1%. why so afraid of giving MVP cards as donation? those who donate it could vend or sell it to other players, so it will never be imbalance.

Been playing this server for 4 years, GMs censure/biased/useless players a LOT, the creator of the server has not been on since 2008/2009. To PVP competitively you must have MVP or be extremely skillful, +6 group, trust me when I say this WOE is technically dead, there's hasn't been real competition for over 1-2 years. NO PROTECTION against WPE/RPE/BOTS/AHK/Hack/DUPE/GRF moddifications. I have seen the rise and fall of this server from 2200+ players ON to 600 and more than half are merchants

So.. it's clear.. GMs also woe.. When GM lost, they gonna ban whom they want so that they can be the top player in the server. Invincible and no one can stop them. This server SUCKS in terms of woe. So please don't woe if you don't wanna get ban

EssenceRo, use to be a great Server, I have been playing this server for sometime now. Recently I have been Banned, not only did I get banned by my whole side of my Dorm did also, GM never fixed anything, got back to us (32 of us) as far as everything else, its a really a server where you play by yourself, everyone is an @$$hole GM Never ever on, if they are on, they only sometimes reply to you. Classes are Balance. Guild Competition has gone down. ): so long Ero

The GMs are unhelpful, rude. Main admin is sexist, telling me to "stick a tampon in my vagina and come back tomorrow". I was banned for speaking out against the GMs abusing their powers (Banning,Muting,Killing ETC). I was killed 70 times, muted, kicked and then temp. banned, threatened to permaban for speaking out against them. (This was stated by Admin in IRC before he banned me from IRC.) Admin claims to not remember threatening me with a ban. Don't play unless you want to avoid GMs.

There is never a reason for anything and there is never a reason for doing something especially if you're a GM. GM's seem to forget things and dont care that they've forgotten it then came out with something completley wrong / opposite of what you're saying/said. Events = seasonal i guess. WoE = not worth it to be honest, people only play because they've nothing else to do i guess. Socialness = Ruined by private towns that are password protected. Updates that are usefull = good joke.

EssenceRO? some of us have started to call it FailRO. GM's who help pk'ers to pwn you. GM's that do not help you with a lightmap problem and over all, absent GMs. Events? Outside from survival arena, and WoE that are automatized events, they make a Hide and Seek once every two or three MONTHS. HAs a lot of customs, yeah, but customs are nothing when you have to speak with a troller Racist on Main chat. Extremely nerfed skills and Equips, eRO Is pretty low.
