While this server looks and "could" be a very good server the lack of GMs listening to the people to change the WoE environment (WoE is absolutely terrible on EssenceRO) makes this server really bad. Not to mention the OVERLOAD of MvP cards and just the high zeny everyone has made the market bad also. Many trashtalkers bad players many MvP cards you can hardly find any GM when u need one all in all not a good place for starters They don't fix any problems only thing they do is add new hats QQ

This server has the worst community, ever. The GMs don't do anything about the awful players/trolls and it ruins the fun for everybody. You're not an individual when you're playing this server, you're just a number and that's it.

Server is always on but prepare to get massive lag during sa. Community is not that bad but could be better.Not much event.Gm is not friendly unless u are their guildie or friend.Rarely on during needed situation.Economy is okay. Never woe or pvp

The server is almost up and stable. Not very friendly, just check the forums and there is no such thing as GM events anymore only the automated ones. The GMs are hard to get ahold of but are good at helping you fix errors. The economy has been in the bucket for a while, class balance is fine I guess. WoE here is a joke, no competition and the GM team seems to have forgot about it. WoE 2? Don't bother, 3 guilds do it and there is 3 castles open. If you want a server for hats and customs come here

Server:its always up but lags constantly, updates/maintenance are terrible and poorly executed.GMs:Absolutely terrible Biased, corrupt(@item and what not), and lazy.Lucky if you can even find one who will talk to you let alone help you. I've been playing in this server for about 18 months . At first , it was one hell of a server . But now , it isnt worth playing anymore . So many imbalanced stuff is out , economy is also bad , donation private towns broke the community . The GMs are the worst I've seen in my MMO life : fcking lazy , no event , never log in , never care about players , never wanna change. I dont know how this server made it to no1 back then , but now it shouldnt be in top 50 . Im looking for a new server .

Played PRE and POST wipe since server opened, it used to be a nice server now 3/4 of the staff is corrupt, GMs hide a lot to avoid players & since TIRA owner GM left 1-2 years ago server aside from that WOE FE is not worth 1 guild dominates it and gets the best 2-3 castles & SE 1 guild gets all the castles. TIP: Freedom of speech is limited so get a GM friend with power that vouches for you and you will not have problem, Top tier MVP cards are easy to obtain, PVP is not competitive, easy.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. EssenceRO used to call itself "the essence of Ragnarok Online". Unfortunately, that essence translates into a server that can't stay online, a staff that is completely useless, a server owner who obviously took the money and ran, a community that's better suited to 4Chan than to an RO server. HiddenDragon is equally useless and instead of doing something to fix the server issues, she spends her time going around sniffing out websites that "rip off" Essence.

Server: Good: up most of the time. Bad: Server is too laggy. Lag spike always on SA/TA AND WOE. Community: Bad: some friendlies (FS/Symph) most are arrogant, elitist, (SP/CBCL guild/ex-ppl - destroys the community). 100% Griefing players on MVP (PK) map. GM: few friendlies (eg Faust), most arrogant/unhelpful/biased (Praetor/Gigawatt/Har etc). Head GM Tira has been MOE > 1 yr with. Gameplay: monopolized Eco. ok woe, TOO CUSTOMIZED, BAD class balance. Me: Played for > 1.5 yr. Donated > U$ 200

The WORST server i've ever played. I've played there for 1 years and few weeks. Some of the Gms are unfair, strongly leaning toward few arrogant elitists (ex-Shatterpoint/CBCL) who donate much. The admin Tira has been MIA for almost a year, gone with my (yes, i did donate) donation. Too customized, poor community, many arrogants and selfish ppl. For newcomers you'll find it nice at the beginning, but after few months you will hate being bullied in PK maps (mvp maps are PK & monopolized by few).
