After playing for a good deal on Essence RO, I am appalled at the server's community, the server is inundated with shallow, obnoxious players that are minimally friendly to new players. eRO is also plagued with lag spikes due to the high levels of players in Survival Arena and WoE but this should be no problem if the server is able to keep up due to the hundreds of dollars worth of donations they get. My main grievance is the total unfriendliness. Truly newbie unfriendly. Waste of time.

When I started it was good, until of course I started dealing with the GMs. Okale tends to take things to the extremes of punishments. One of the guilds is populated with GMs and Owns WoE2.0 due to a "bug" that makes their defenses unbreakable. The connectivity has gone way down hill and there hasn't been a basic server maintenance update in over 2 months now. So if you're looking for a fair server with good connectivity, dont come here, but at least the guilds are sociable till good ppl leave.

I really didn't like playing on this server. The vast majority of the community isn't helpful, very laggy at random times, economy sucks, no guild competition(always the same few guild who dominate) and i barely saw any GM's online when i was playing. The only upside i saw was it was highly populated, but there's no point if everything else about it is negative.

I played this server for only 2 days, and already I've dealt with chronic lag spikes, and terrible skin layouts which are excruciating to handle, and meeting some real jerks who obviously have no respect or consideration for other players, especially with today I caught 2 people dbing in payon cave(lvl1), and I mean unless you think it's right that people should be dbing in noob grounds, this conduct is clearly unacceptable. I have to say I was really disappointed with this server...

I'm playing for 3 months, I was bored from low rate servers, then i select essence-ro from this site. It was so nice at the beggining, until i faced with GM's.. My account was blocked (which is a merchant, just for trading) and when i told them they answered me in 1 hours with 5 senteces. (I mean i wait too long for replies) Finally they told, we dont know why its banned, there is nothing to do.. That make me crazy, and i wanted to write it here.. Thank you very much..

It's not too bad. There are severe lag spikes every 10 minutes or so that last for about 5 seconds. Economy's pretty amazing. There's LOTS of guild competition, clearly seen in both PvP and WoE. The community's sh*t. A lot of people are very rude and unhelpful, and you're mostly getting ganged in PvP, although this isn't hard to get used to. I've only seen 1 GM in the whole while I've played here, and he just walks around in PvP with horrible grammar. Overall, it's a pretty good server, somewhat

Way too much customs. Way too much MvP cards running rampant. Alot of players so the WoE fairly decent sized. Too much extra junk on this server, needs to be closer to the real thing. MvP card drop rates will be the end of this. Cough up the cash to be successful.

The community is alright,alot of people are rude especially to new players who ask questions about quests and npc locations.The server has major lag spikes and sometimes lags so badly the server crashes this happends about every other day. The game masters are hardly ever around it takes them forever and a day to answer forum msgs,and i only know of ONE gm who actually ever does anything.They've nerfed everything so making money is exstremly hard. and the events they do are utterly stupid.

Probably the worst server I've been to in a long time, due to HUGE lags spikes every 5-10min and normal lag always. The economy is pretty screwed up since everything ( including somewhat rares ) are too cheap, and then anything a BIT better is already 10 times the worth. KSers a lot; Getting KSed pretty much everywhere I go. And one of the most imbalanced things are the 3rd classes, imba skills and bonuses, espacially when they're not even really out yet, and engineer is being favored too much..

I originally started playing around October 2007, the server started out the best. Then is quickly took a turn for the worst. People started to become very rude, and somewhat elitist. I quit. Then I returned recently to find the server was even worse. It has constant lag, didn't even let up for a second. A lot of bots running around. Random gravity errors despite having a fully updated, new client. My inventory had also been wiped clean, all my work gone. Classes and skills are nerfed constantly
