Midgard Tales is a fun renewal server. With a focus on PVM and decently fast progression through early game, you can pretty much get into the meat of Episode 19/20 within a week of playing. Plenty of grind, plenty of options for progression. There's very slight pay2progress also for those who prefer it. Most important is the incredibly friendly community, and the fantastic GM Tron who handles dev and updates. Sounds too good to be true? Give it a shot, there's a decent chance you'll like it

I just stumbled on this server right after it released and I am so happy that I did. Right off the bat you are given your chosen class at level 1 and gifted the 9 skill points for basic skill. You are quickly introduced to the changes through gaining wRO coins for gear by killing mobs, and experiencing the variable card rate. I felt that I was able to customize my build from the get go without being overpowered. The fun I was having as a first class made me relive my early days of RO.

Very stable and well-organized server with a cool concept of Lvl 120 characters doing higher lvl challenging contents! GM actually listens to players' feedbacks and makes quick changes. A week ago, i didnt participate when the owner urged players to give "positive" reviews (which are now deleted). But now I have decided to since this is a disappointing server. Despite being an incomplete server (which is also a relaunch of another old server), the admin doesnt care for the improvement of this one. Game bugs are everywhere and not getting resolved. Most complaints are getting ignored. Events? None. Features? Yeah you can only wish that these even get implemented. Typical PH srvr

Just joined this server last month because of the positive reviews I read. Also because I’m looking for a high rate server since I don’t have the time to play for long hours like before. And honestly I thought that this was gonna be the same old game I use to play back in the days. But to my surprise, it exceeded my expectation. I also got the chance to join them celebrate their anniversary and it was a blast! I hope my friends join me on this server so we could rebuild our guild!!!

Coming back to RO after a 14ish year gap, jumped from server to server, this has been the most enjoyable experience so far. low rates, active community, plenty of opportunities as a new player to get involved and establish a foothold. Do recommend for the oldschool feel, the balance changes for classes are tastefully done imo, and the custom content isnt intrusive if thats not your thing.

I've been playing for some time now and all I have to say is that the journey is great. This server has a unique feature called "Astral Skills" and it gives your character a lot of possibilities and potential. It's the same game that I am used to BUT BETTER. Another thing I like here is how the GM's are active and consistent on doing server updates, balancing it, etc. Not to mention the events, the GM surely spoils us players! I urge others to join us here and relive your GLORIOUS RAGNAROK DAYS!
