Used to play on this server back in 2010s, now I'm back, all my accounts are still available. Population have dropped, used to be more than 1000 players connected, now around 600 to 700 including vendors. The community is very nice, people on the main chat are helpful, players are also helpful GM's support is efficient, prompt reply.

Played for several years glad it's back... but a server that prevents modding isn't fun. I don't want to play vanilla ragnarok, I want to use RCX, custom sprites, custom sounds. Let your players customize how their game looks, swapping sprites isn't hacking or game breaking. Literally no other player cares that someone sees a different sprite on their end. NovaRO supports mods, so why not talon?

Hands down the best pre-renewal server you can find out there, there are some Renewal mechanics mixed in but its just a few enough to provide a spice yet keeping everything balanced. Also the only down side that I see here is that there are some areas of market which is almost / nearly monopolized by a player or group of players

Stable promising server that has a lot of returning players. You build your inventory, you play from time to time, daily or periodically. EVERYONE will find something for himself. Plenty active pvm groups running runs like ET GMC TWC MT AT BOTN. MVP hunters with a loot of competition! WOE in full spectrum! See you soon :)

Best pre-renewal server I've been playing on for decades. Always returning after taking breaks from the game. The community is friendly and the GMs are hard-working. I dont participate in WoE, instance runs and most events but you can tell there is a lot going on here. There are just the right amount of quality of life customizations. Enough to keep you invested and not to much to make it boring. Much renewal content has been converter for the pre-re environment. Never regret join here

i have been playing here since 2019, people really helpful to those newbie so if you want to know something just ask on #Main and they help you right away, they teach you how to farm/where to farm as a newbie and what item to invest 1st, even help you level up, the best server for me. GM's are the best always ready to answer your question and help if you have issues with the game, and always fair to people. if you want a server to start with why not try talon you wont regret playing here.

I have been playing on this server for over 9 years on and off now. So far, this server has been the most rewarding version I have ever played in. Sure, there are other servers that offer other stuff, but this server actually nailed what I had been looking for. The very pleasant chat community and the active players really makes a big difference.

Very nice and stable server. I came back after a very long time and all my gears and characters are still there (and you do not loose your ingame names like in other servers :D). The community is very friendly, fun and helpfull, you will always find other players to connect to if you are looking for that. If you prefer to go solo it's also an option here! Talon Tales offers a balanced mix of endgame runs and casual RO like in the good old times. :)

Toxic community, friendly GMs......came back after some years break and community got alot worse. Alot of self-rightous mental children. Game should be called soloplayer online. Got full gear, would have liked to party more with randoms, but people are very guild-only-thinking. And alot of autists on discord will claim it's otherwise while avoiding to join you of course. Basically a kindergarten server.

Dead server economy. MVP and valuable drop maps such as kraken, vesper and odin F2 are monopolized and overmobbed (check the vend name even). Even though GM was online at the time people made the complain but they ignore it. Avoid this server if you can.
