I joined SeRO after playing on a previous server run by the same GM. I've never enjoyed a server as much as I have on servers run by GM Serenity. The community is very close-nit, and the more established players are always helping new people who join. The atmosphere is laid back but still competitive, and there are fun custom events from pvp based to games of chance. As Vuu said, while there are donation items, they're accessible to players who can't afford to donate. I love this server. Try it.

A relatively updated and close-knit-community server. Although it has donation items, you don't necessarily have to buy them in order to get them, balancing out this issue. There's always something to do with the inclusion of automated events and customised quests. The community is quite friendly and willing to lend a hand. The server is made by its players, for its players, essentially, and it really is just one of those servers that you can stay and call your own. I know I can.

I have played on Serenity RO for a few years, ever since version 1(this is version 4), and it is honestly the very best server I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. I gave it a low score for Guild Competition, because, well, I lead one of the strongest guilds there. There is almost no competition other than one or two guilds that can barely break our defenses. Play here, and show me who's boss.

an amazing server If your looking for a enw one i highly suggest it. The people are active and the GM's are great to play with. If you ever have a question they're always on to help out with. I've been on many previous servers, but this is the best one by far. Just the right amount of people are on it so you can be any class you want and be original with it. It's got a huge market place and you can design your own personal stuff. Overall, the best RO server ever conceived. Kudos to the GMs.

I normally am not interested in low rate servers, but I tried this one. I am so glad I did. Everyone is so friendly and there is so many custom things, you can really tell a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into the making and running of this server. The admins and GMs really CARE about the players, and about giving them all an experience they will love and remember. They go out of their way to make sure ALL players are taken care of. I'm glad I decided to stay, this is one of the best.

This is a small but close community. This server is VERY customized. Lots of custom NPCs, custom quests such as the Gladiator weapons which are a challenge to get, which they should be, considering they're a bit like god weapons. GM's are very helpful and easy to get along with, and they hold as many events as time permits. The game-play itself i won't lie is somewhat lacking, it needs more people!! People make the server so i hope more people will join! Need more guild competition for woe!

SeRO has not only helped me love the game again, but I also felt like I found a family of sorts in it. The GM’s are friendly, and the server has a wide range of events. Questions are usually answered quickly on the forums/over main/ or with the use of @request. They also have a wide range in custom gears. The only things that aren’t stable at the moment would be the economy and WOE, but they just needing some more healthy competition.

I have played on at least a dozen servers over the past 5 years and this server is my favorite so far. The GMs are VERY active, friendly and helpful. Lots of cute custom headgears and equips designed with balance in mind. They have a couple of automated events which are a fun distraction, and the GM run events are frequent, fun and creative! The community is friendly and active with ~50 players connected at a time. I've been having a great time on this server and would recommend it to anyone! :)

A simply amazing server. The community is incredible, and it blew me away just how nice everyone was to me when I first joined. The GMs are awesome, and are always there when you need them. Also, I have never experienced an ounce of lag, and downtime is almost non-existent. I only wish that I had joined earlier.

I enjoy this server above most others. I've been on both high and low rate servers but the friendliness of the people who play on this server don't compare. I will say the economy could be better an Woe needs to have more than a few top guilds but It's being worked on and I can say I will stick around to see what else comes.
