I've been playing Project Alfheim, and honestly it has made RO fun for me again. I really love what they've done with the skills and job fixes. So many classes and abilities feel useful and fresh now, giving us more freedom to create different builds instead of copying the same one. The equipment, enchants, farming, and class changes always give me something new to work toward. If you enjoy classic RO but want something fresher, I really think you should give PA a try!

this is the BEST server i ever played on. its not easy finding a good pre-renewal server. nice people/community! lvling or mvp partys are planned frequently. moderate rates. GM and supports are kind. the flow of information is pretty good.

Cards have received a wonderful pass over, making most options viable. Classes have small tweaks that open up new ways to build/play them. There's plenty of custom content to explore and enjoy. However, the cash shop is very p2w, content after level 100 is designed like a modern MMO—requiring coordinated party play—buut the active playerbase is very small. So a lot of the changes/custom content is unapproachable without heavy multi-boxing or scheduling to play with others in discord.

Very customized server. Never seen a GM online, and on Discord they mainly deal with bugs. There are several unadressed bugs and implemented content, however, the server is being constantly worked on. The wiki is barebones; and there are few to no guides on Discord that actually help; there is little to no interaction with other players (such as the world boss, that no one ever does). It's a bit p2w, since you've more "bot" time, and no way of f2p buying the VIP. However, I still recommend it

A pre-renewal server, with RO Zero drops and custom content to keep the game fresh. If you've ever wanted to see the expanded jobs receive just as much love as the basic jobs, then you have to try this server at least once!

PA shines for casual solo players/small group of friends that want to play together in PvM. A lot of places offer individual loots, meaning that every player in your small group will roll its own items on each monster killed. And the solo content is way way way more rewarding than the party content. Other than that, it kinda falls flat. Custom classes are poorly balanced, overshadowing every other classes. Options rolls on mandatory MvP gears becomes boring and tedious extremely fast; and more.

Coming late to finally try 4th job server for the first time and I'm lucky to choose Sakray. There are MANY QoL features that help your progression in game. BSB and all other stuffs that needed for craft/refine/grade/enchants are map/mob drops. Community is active with recurring party invites for CT run. GM is also active addressing feedbacks/bugs or even class balancing. Definitely very recommend server to play!

As per this review, server still max on Ep 19. Community is very active and GM is very helpful. Not much customization regarding Ep 18/19 enchant or craft mats. There're some QoL feature, but not breaking low rate journey experience. Latest update gives mentor/mentee system, so don't worry about late start. Just ask people in game / discord, there are many ppl willing to help you to level up. Come and try!

Giving my review here because that server earned it. The amount of costum stuff like custom rebirth for the expanded classes and new maps/reworked maps are awesome. Also the "basic" rebirth classes will getting love step by step. New people joining here can enter a custom tutorial after the novice ground and leads you into the world of Project Alfheim. Also ontop there is no p2w stuff, only cosmetic stuff. Being here for 3 years and I don't have a single reason to change.

As per this review, Dewata only provides browser play and it running really smooth (Some skill animations / sprites are not shown but not blocking) so very recommended if you're looking server with browser client capability. That being said, standalone client is unavailable. GM very friendly and helpful. Daily activities / events provide coins that can be traded with armor/weapon box, ransum, etc. Come and try!
