going back and off from TRO for 7 years, i see alot of changes and things happened. some are good some are bad. sometimes less player, sometimes its booming. the admins is trying to balance all classes slowly but can see their progress, they added alot of new custom cards and quips to achieve it. although it is still very far from it, i hope they will eventually do it and gain their trust again from their old players like me. it's newbie friendly, lots of fun high end instance and mobs.

For the short time I have been on this server I have met a friendly guild, enjoyed myself with a few of the GM hosted events and have experienced a server with little to no bot activity. I still feel that the early maps are basically empty because of the ease of both leveling and gear advancement through the cash shop. Members of my guild have been met with high amounts of harassment upon Talon discord, to the point we don't want to use it, the admins were even unwilling to acknowledge evidence

I have played on this server for a long time, I took a hiatus for a few years On my return this is what i've noticed: If you start the game fresh (unlike back when I first started) you could level a novice to first class of your choice and slot and MVP within 10 minutes... if you donate of course, or you can slum it up somewhat and level quickly without MVP gears. At times feels like a high rate server with a focus on Battle Ground focus. Stable server, but easy MVP Card access ruined economy..

Not a great server for WoE/PvP. The GMs are delusional thinking that they know what they're doing while they actually don't even WoE and barely have any WoE experience, they don't really listen to the WoE Player' suggestions, but instead they made unnecessary changes (BG gears nerf, WoE FE Schedule, etc.) without making any survey or asking the WoE player' opinions. Anyway, a bad act does not wash out the good, nor a good act the bad. The server is very stable, and great for PvM & Social stuff.

I was banned from the TalonRO Discord a while back for posting a slightly unfavorable review here on RMS based on my past experiences with the server where I made a reference to a where a GM had taken unnecessary, informal, and immoral action against me in the past. This is simply an updated review in regards to that, as it bolsters my previous criticism and further affects the "Game Master Ratings" section of my point review.

After being away from RO for about 9 years or so, I recently returned. I chose TalonRO because it was a low-rate server which is my preferred. In the time that I have been here, I am extremely impressed with the server. I have had no problems with lag or crashes or even bugs of any kind. I've not had a chance to interact with the community or GMs yet, and I haven't really noticed the economy (even if I could remember to compare to 9 years ago). Tons of events and a lot of participation.

Mostly a balanced and correct low rate server, that is stable enough and long lasting. The communiti is like in any other mmo game there are better and wors people, but we are all humans so no problem just do not take it uppon yourself. I have a pretti good time the time i played on this server, it gives back good memory from the past.

I first played TalonRo back in 2005 and I gotta say it is one my all time favorite games since then. Theres no RPG that has such a class diversity that I've enjoyed like ragnarok partially because in other games, one class can do everything. I do have some negativety towards one of the old GMs. After coming back after 12 years, there was account issues regarding proof of ownership. Lets just say the GMs choice of came off as rude and I couldn't remember my info from 12 years ago. My characters..

Server is good for overall pvm gameplay. However it extremely lacks a competitive pvp/woe environment. End game is focused on costumes which offer no benefit aside from aesthetic purposes. I have also noticed that most people on this server are faint hearted and can’t handle pvp/woe pressure hence they don’t play or invest in GMs don’t care about pvp/woe hence no focus. which is understandable due to a low pop but this server has huge potential in pvp/woe especially unress mode if focused ON.

Am a long time player on this server - I've been here since about 2013. Lately, I've noticed a steady decline in both the playerbase and GM's as far as toxicity goes. People are becoming increasingly toxic here, and the GM's just don't care and are just as bad themselves. Hate speech is apparently accepted here, as one of the GM's told me. Anyway, I'd advise you to stay far away from this server. It's going nowhere good fast, and also dying.
