I loved Talon for a long time, it has since been plagued to the brim with donations and p2w. You can literally buy power in the form of cards and equipment. You can however also earn the "coins" (donation currency) by playing/voting/whatever, so if you're ok with such a system, it's a stable enough server. Botting is minimal and haven't encountered many cheaters.

Server is usually up and running just fine, no issues there. For the community, New players aren't welcome. Questions never get answered, just rude comments made to the person asking them. if you need help in the game, don't expect a warm welcome. Seen the GMs in town chatting with each other. While I was in the middle of PMing one just to watch them keep chatting and totally ignored me Economy is broken due to Pay-2-win cash shop, Buy Cards, Gear, anything. WoE controled by 1 OP guild.

Good server but sh*tty gm boreas especially. When you have problem instead of helping he will call you IDIOT. I lost my items worth more than 100m zeny and i know how. Someone just log in to my 2nd account. And the only thing i got from his just YOU SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT IDIOT. So for you who still play i suggest you to quit this server before you got the same problem or any other problem. Zero help and get an IDIOT from gm while you having a big problem is truly heartbreaking

Still a garbage server, same as it's been for twelve years. Tyrannical GMs, rude community, and a broken economy that caters only to the ultra-rich. It's sad that rubbish like this has been the top rated low server for years and years. This has done nothing but contribute to ROs slow and agonizing death.

the GM's were friendly to those who donate and famous players. they prioritize those first. they were snob to those not famous i dont' know why maybe because we dont donate. in my opinion this server is pay to win.

Totally unfair and bad server toxic gm's and players, illegal trolls that use GM commands to hide and troll innocent/advid players of the game. in Payon dungeon leveling minding my own business a hacker using gm command hide watches me, then continues to illegally run brain manipulation, and illegal mind control and research and analyzation of me and my gameplay totally disregard of human life and the innocent player and totally disrespecting me. Firstly, I would like to comment on the GMs. They have Zero Empathy. When *Bleep* hits the fan, they tend to get very arrogant and throw their weight around. Really Disappointing that they do not try to resolve the issues with the player but instantly issue bans. Secondly its a pay to win server. People who pay enough will be at the top of the food change. They do have WOE, but then again. Pay to win will probably kill the fun in WOE. They have the same events month on month with no change.

I play w my bro years ago, and got banned because we share the same pc & laptop, and SAME gaming email. my bro and i tried to explain it, but they always close the support tickets. last week i tried to login again, and saw the ban is permanent. GM is not helpful at all, and decided to close it. Hundreds of hour grinding equips gone.Imagine you play for so long, and they banned you because they didn't like you. how come you get banned coz you and your bro have similar gaming email? this happened.

Totally unbalanced server in my opinion. Everyone has donations, custom gears, etc. Playing here doesn't feel like RO felt to me. (People running around full MVP carded, Max ASPD, etc.) Also customized game mechanics (like custom OBB drops etc.) You can't even compete without those strong custom gears. It's just a oneshot festival. GMs weren't very friendly and didn't help me. It's a fun server but no real RO experience. I changed to OriginsRO and that was the best decision ever.

I enjoy playing in this server. It's just a shame that during long weekends, something wrong happens with the client. I'm not a full time player and can only play on my very rare free time so I look forward to playing during holidays. Unfortunately this Thanksgiving long weekend, it seems that I'm not getting my TalonRO dose.. what's worse is that I encountered the same during 2018 New Year's eve. :( Talon's forum site is helpful but usually, the GM's take long to respond.
