This server is awesome! I have been looking for a server that does not prioritize donations, and voting. This is it!
Little to none in-game customization. (Character style is what I've noticed)
People are friendly.
Unfortunately the population is low, a lot more active during WOE which says something.
The server still updates, so there's room for growth.
P.S. I made this account just to write a review on this server because it deserves it!

It's a very empty server, with a lot of autovend merchants and very little players which makes the "online players" count misleading. Furthermore, one of the GMs likes handing out mutes for unwritten rules, and does not follow their own policy about the steps involved with muting a player. There are only two real guilds, and one of them has a handful of MVP cards.
On the plus side, the community is so small and tight, that if you ask for help with leveling, you will get it.

It's not true that the "online players" count is misleading, since we clearly separate players from autotraders. Unlike many servers out there, we refuse to cheat on the online player count on the website. As for your punishment, while it's true that you didn't get a warning beforehand (it was an error on the part of the GM that handed out the punishment), our rules don't approve of continuative trolling in public channels, and the 5-minutes mute wasn't undeserved, as I already explained to you.

Great server if you enjoy classic RO, it's slow paced so you take your time leveling and making friends and not just blind-less grinding 24/7, People are friendly and helpful so are the GM's, Only down side is that there are not many players (Such a shame when this is such a good Server) so it can get hard to find a party to level up sometimes, No customization whatsoever no OP items and classes are balanced, I hope this server grows so the community grows which will make it competitive and fun.

Its almost my 4th year playing in this server. From all the servers that I played this one still survives and amazes me. I got a lot of friends in my time playing here. There are downs and ups in the servers life but it still survives. Talking or Reunions with friends from before is very refreshing. Looking forward to party with Old and New friends in this server. And i just cant describe the server in mere words, you might as well try it to know what and why i'm saying this.

a Lovely server with a great community!
Captures the old school RO nostalgia perfectly, no overpowered items or any eye sores as far as customs go.
The staff is all very helpful and friendly, more events would be great tho!
Overall, an awesome place for anyone that likes the Classic RO gamestyle and enjoys friendly company.

The best classic server out there, very friendly staff & a nice community, never a dull moment. no silly overpowered items, the grind is real.
Staff took 2 hours to help me get the client running on a mac out of pure friendliness. Recommend it 10/10 to everyone looking for that old school RO experience.

This is the perfect server for people who wish to experience the classic RO feeling that everyone grew up loving.
New updates are rolled out regularly slowly progressing through the classic RO episodes. It features Mac support which was a huge reason why I joined, but coming onto the server I was welcomed by a lot of friendliness and it was easy setting up parties with people. The market is not too over the top so new players can get involved quickly. come and join me :)

For those who like "vanilla" RO, meaning old-school gameplay without all those (IMO) annoying things that were introduced, I cannot recommend another server. The staff is extremely helpful and active, the server is simple to install and has a nice master account system, allowing for management of more than a single playing account, not to mention the main reason I joined: MAC SUPPORT! It works perfectly! I recommend checking it out!

This is one of the friendliest servers I've played so far. Woe seems pretty active as well, although I can only say seems because I haven't participated yet. There seems to be people trying to find parties for thing pretty often and most people are willing to help out if you have no idea what youre doing.

I love this server because it truly sticks to its name Origin(al) RO! For old generation players like us who love the "old RO feel": Friendly community, searching for parties, chatting with different classes, talking with "people" players, discovering each map manually, exchanging and discussing server related topics, all the balance before the complicated customs; Then this is the server for you!
