Having played this server for a few months now, it has become clear that the GMs want to remain 'neutral' when it comes to keeping the community from essentially verbally attack each other. GMs also very clearly verbally players in the main channel claiming "are just complaining" instead of being mature. Having GM'd on many servers, I've very aware of how stressful and difficult GMing can be, but that doesn't mean you can take your frustration out on players. Be an adult and GM, don't pick sides

I tried giving this server a chance again, thinking that maybe the Staff had changed their ways of actually punishing their friends for constant harassment towards specific guildies and members. Nothing has changed. Favoritism is greatly presented. Instead they're telling people they don't like to leave. So much for that promised "reform". Individual harassment and abuse in #main is heavily present and not much is being done. Changes fit only for GM's circle friends. Until this changes I'm out.

Done playing this server. The server GMs have severe bias issue. People from one guild can get bullied/harassed and the GMs will done nothing but when it is someone they personally know or are friends with it is met with immediate action, which indicates a bias. After this review has been read a GM will reply to this comment stating "This isn't true and that we take serious action..blah blah blah" when in fact that is a lie.

The good: - There are donations, and therefore there can be no pay-to-win. - The server is fairly stable and many bugs have been fixed. - Very few bots. - Solid WoE The bad: - GMs are a bit of a grab bag depending on who you're talking to. Some are very unfriendly and petty. - If you're being harassed in main or discord, instead of taking action you're more likely going to be told to ignore and move on. If that doesn't work, it's your fault and you should shut up. Victim blaming happens often.

After playing since 2-2 jobs was released, Origins is the safest server by far. It's been going strong for years (2013?) now and hasn't dropped in quality. There is zero P2W. WoE always has new guilds coming in and out. Bad side? The updates. This is a progressive server, so we get episodic updates. Problem is, we get these updates every year or so. As of September 2020 we are on the Thanatos Tower update. The community is also very unfriendly, but that's to be expected in any high pop server.

Extremely "old school" - just got Thana, 2 patches a year. Good: Economy is solid, no bots, no donates. People are mostly nice. Bad: Not newbie friendly, parties are pretty silent/static outside of guilds, no PvP, and WoE is trivial - 2 castles and the play style is.. weird. Noteworthy: GM is never online. No little events. Trans added last year and people still complain about it lol. Friendly people hidden here, but you gotta dig and grind pretty hard to find them. Find a guild ASAP on Discord!

It's a nice server, rate-wise. Classes are pretty balanced (Though some are bugged). Nothing too OP. WoE is active and Guilds really get in to it. MvP hunting is very active as well which is really fun. But, there's is one negative thing about the server. It's that the community (unfortunately, it includes SOME GM's...) can be very toxic sometimes which may or may not end up pushing you away. But if you're used to the toxcity that the community delivers, then you should be alright I guess.

OriginsRO- 'Taking RO back to its Origins'. If I could give Origins a 10/10 for one thing, it is sticking to its guns. No donates, ever. Server is nice, but there are some ISP issues that have caused lag and down times. Community can be nice, but there is a constant pressure by the competitive area making it hard to keep up. Events are rare (halloween event lasted through end of december) and patches are rarer. GMs are nice, but very inclusive and secretive. Gameplay is ok, but grindy.

This is a good Ragnarok server. It's so close to what you are looking for, when it comes to an authentic experience. Sadly it falls just short of that for a few reasons. "Ragnarok" is such a classic game would love to see servers stick to the roots that made it such a great game in the first place.

Played 3w. good oldschool server but: 1)Vendors with @autotrade can stay unlimited time. 2)ToS is breaking game mechanics so you cant use anymore Pneuma,SW or Icewall to kill MvP (ffa rules) it will be a griefing and you get 1-3 days ban(got it right now) so i think for me its enought to stop playing here. i realy didnt expect rules what just destroy gaming expirience. you a unique in this 3)Population is around 200-250 real people in primetime except WoE. 4)In some locations like GH much lags.
