I played the original v2 of eRO back when it was first available. The extensive customisation of the server is great and it seems to have sorted out a lot of the issues that there were. The community is pretty helpful with the exception of a few who trashtalk in the global chat a lot. Discord community is helpful although some GMs come across as condescending when seen interacting in public channels. The only downside is that Gepard seems to cause multiple issues for players.

This server hasn't let me down when it comes to the community. Its features are also worth noting, and the customizations on this server add spice to the game play. I've never had so much fun contesting for MVPs, have GvGs, etc!

I played this server recently, and I am surprised how warm and welcoming the staff and community is, lots of new stuff to tinker around~ also they have pokemon! Game can be both played casually and competitively, which is good! Lots of options for character customization that makes your character feel unique~ and did i tell you that they have POKEMON~!

They are working on Guild Competitiveness and Class Balancing all the time, the server is great, the community is amazing, GMs are actually very helpful. Very good server, been having a lot of fun and people in the discord are very helpful aswell, been having a blast, i feel like the rates let you feel like you are progressing and at the same time it isnt too easy. very good balance.

This is a reboot server, the first one was one of the best servers I have played, this new one continues to carry the torch. They updated all the systems to 2020 standards, lot's of customs, balance changes, and fixed some problems from the old one.
Feels good to be back.

Never seen a gm post once in game, dont even know if any exist?
MVP's are not soloable, the lower mvps are buffed to 1m hp and use Kaupe and other skills so need at least 3 to kill them.
The server has so many custom gear/quests but the website to get the info doesnt exist.I tried asking the community but either they dont understand English or just not willing to help new people

Hi mLoc! Thanks for your review. There are GM's in-game constantly, and if not online we're always accessible via Discord. We post updates nearly every single day as well -- I myself was on a short leave as a good friend of mine passed away suddenly, I hope you can understand :) <3 -- One of our main features is that MVP's are geared to be "Party-Oriented". Our Wiki does have all of the info on our customs as well. Discord is always super helpful as well. If you're still around, lets chat!

Great server with active Discord channel, with admin and server owners that are on most of the day. Happy Hour Battlegrounds and Draft WoE give PvP players a lot to strive for.

eRO's return that we needed but did not know that. As in the past it is highly customized, what sometimes is problematic, but the team seems to be tackling all problems one by one. Very friendly staff, events both automated and GM held. I think there is some more work to be done on the BG arena, as it has been altered a few times, but the work being done is visible and that is important to me. Highly recommend playing here!

After last 2 updates the server when really bad, population is dropping, something crashes BG happy hour.
We went from 3 guilds in draft woe to just 2, guild cometition gets worst after the changes to trying to class balance. Not enough tester in the test server makes the live one get screw.

Hey Leir -- Thanks for your review. We are very aware of the issue regarding BG, and as we've said in multiple announcements, its hard to debug on a small scale, and things tend to happen in BG in a "perfect storm" type of scenario. As for guild competition, quite the contrary -- Today we hit a peak of over 350 online during Draft WoE. In addition to that, Draft WoE is simply that, Draft. It isn't Guild based and relies on Volunteers to lead. Each team had a total of 28 players. Thanks again.

I have been playing Ragnarok online since (uff)I think 2007. I have always enjoyed the capacity of playing with your friends. Back to years ago, EssenceRo has been the server I have enjoyed the most (and my friends too). We were sad when it closed. When we knew it opened again we were so excited. Now it is back! With nice costumes, balanced skills and characters. MVP's and WOE are fair, balanced and fun, great minigames. No pay-to-win. GM are available and willing to help all the time. Join us!
