Great idea for the server, poor execution. x1 server emulating Aegis as close as possible. No respecs, no conveniences, all of the 2004 experience. But Skill balance is 13.1. meant for trans characters on a pre-trans server. MVP respawns are doubled(because of low player count?). The server is ran by a single admin with a notoriously bad temper. Implementing 250 zeny fly wings and 100 sp creamy teleport are his idea. Just one of the many reasons why people are leaving the server for better ones

x1 and no multiclient. If you like that kind of server it's definitely worth giving RetRO a try. Because population is low economy and WoE are a bit lackluster. Should pick up when Episode 9 comes. There are some custom events and costumes available but they don't break the feel of the server.

Although the population is rather low, it's a great server to play on if you wish to experience pre-renewal on x1 rates. If you want to grind the oldschool way, and for it to be meaningful, this is the place for you. There are some custom modifications but they are all in the spirit of "classic". Some of these are some rather important bits so I advise you to give them a good read on the website.

This is the place to play if you want to experience 4th jobs and all the newest content. Very updated server. But it feels very sandboxey with high rates and all the conveniences/warp orbs, I would honestly prefer more of an exploration journey.
