KokoRO is a great server for stability w/ 1x rates with official mechanics. Their focus is to keep the original flavor of pre-renewal as well as possible. The admins are quick to help with any problems that come up. The community is small but tight. The economy feels balanced, though you often have to hunt for your own stuff. There are many players out there actively trying to help new players (e.g. buying strawberries for a higher price). Every is passionate about the game, I really like it!

Play here if you want the single-client, vanilla 13.2 pre-renewal experience and don't mind a small passionate community. The best thing about the server is that it is very stable, does not take donations, and is pre-paid for over a year in advance. I have been playing for two years and have noticed very little downtime. There is no other server that comes close with being a 1x pre-re server with minimal modifications.
