From what I have seen there is a lot of promise this is gonna take RO in a new direction. I can't say it's there now, if anything it feels still very vanilla. I like the idea of not having a P2W option and having players grind to get things they want. At some point though it just becomes too difficult to bother with anymore. After spending a day making an Alchemist and getting a Homunculus, I find it does not get Autoloot. This was the last straw for me because EVERYTHING costs money.

We simply do not want to encourage or allow AFK farming playstyles. Alchemist was given greed as compensation for homunculus losing auto loot. It also has a significantly buffed Acid Terror skill so they do not need to rely on homunculus anymore in the first place outside of supplemental damage. Not autoloot for homunculus is only if the homunc does 50% or more of the damage on the mob's HP. If are even remotely active, auto loot will kick in. Just don't go AFK!
