This is one of the best servers I've been on. The pros: I have never had a time when at least one GM wasn't online. The GMs are Helpful and friendly. Only one time has the server been down to my knowledge. The Community is very close knit. There are multiple events each day. The Cons: The economy in the server is very ruined due to a very large quest called the Hero Quest. Many classes seem to be unbalanced. There are about 3 major guilds that usually end up winning woe. I started playing RO when I was 9 years old. I am now 26. I have not had a private server sink its claws into me this deeply since then. I really love this server, I love the discord community, and the GMs are truly second to none. People trying to game the market due to the episodic release schedule has lead to some economic stagnation, but this server is Ragnarok almost completely unadulterated, the way it was meant to be played, and I am so grateful for that.

I like OathRO, it seems like it's run by people who know what they're doing, and there isn't any pay2win nonsense. That being said, the economy is pretty slow, and I don't necessarily agree with all the choices they've made when it comes to custom content and QoL. So far the community has been somewhat lacking, forging services are slow to get back to people and guilds are quiet, but the heart of the game is here and that's more than I can say for a lot of servers. I recommend trying it out!
