A really nice friendly server, when asking for help in game as a newbie several people respond to help out. There are various patches that are fast to be implemented after feedback from players and that shows that the admin is engaging with the community. Aside from that there's no dual clienting which i feel prevents botting and supply surge of the economy, albeit the economy being a little quiet now due to it not having as many players as it deserves.

what make it different with other server is how GM provide class rebalance, this makes different type of build is viable throughout the gameplay not only meta classes and meta build. GM also friendly and always join the discussion on discord. community is also helpful and very friendly makes 1x rate not really a problem

OathRO is simply a breath of fresh air in today's day and age for RO. The GMs are very dedicated and engaged with the community to ensure that the changes made to the server are not wacky or terribly imbalanced. Why just copy paste the old days of RO anyway for nostalgia? You get just the same here except you can play all the off-meta builds and characters you wanted to. The WOE scene is also fresh and exciting. The community is amazing too. Active leveling parties and main chat always help out.

Been playing on the server a little over a month. Its re-balance made a lot of other build viable. Trap and blitz hunter, combo monks and so on. Good quality of life changes such as buff duration of 5 mins. Active partying at all levels. Main chat is usually active and people tend to answer questions and help new players. No pay to win donation/etc.

Been here for almost a month and I can say of all the years I have played Ragnarok, this is the best server that I have been into. Classic means classic for the GM and also, with the class balancing, other classes have a spotlight to shine and the world would not rotate only on the usual knight/wizard farming. There is a good community here, there is a market, there is a party mechanics (for leveling) and yep, this is nostalgia at its best. so I recommend you download and join us here. Goodluck!

This server differences itself from others because of the balances that are implemented in some of the skills. hp and sp regen rate are increased, you still need to wait sitted to top your hp/sp, but not an eternity as before. Almost all buffs last 5 mins, is nice to play BS without having to deal with the unsync buffs. un-viable classes and builds now are viable, DD Sin, Plant/Marine Alche, Battle Priest, Trap Hunter, Fist Monk and more. It's been about 6 months now and it's time to update my review. I've been playing on OathRO since launch and it's only gotten better. The server is a 1x classic with unique balance changes to classes and new content that makes the game feel fresh. The staff on this server have the sort of integrity and love for the game you wish other servers could emulate. No RMT, no dual, no bots, no hacks or macros, no spoofed or faked population numbers. Just RO the way it's intended to be played. Spicy WoE.

been here since november 2021, dual clienting, RMT, botting, macros/cheats/exploits/scamming are strictly prohibited. No bulllsh*t npcs like warper/buffer/healer/jobchanger. NO Cash Shop. Party leveling is happening daily. Neat Custom Contents and balancing changes which add more flavors to the fun without disrupting the original metas. Friendly Community, cute and harmless people coexists with some worshiping cults. Staffs and owner himself play the game like everyone else with normal account.

Simply the best and king of 1x rates. Oath runs an incredibly professional show with courtesy, respect, and a democratic outlook to how the server is run. There are custom changes to some mechanics here, but they seem modern, intuitive, consensus-driven by the community, and wonderful QoL improvements to the old way of things. Competition is healthy in WoE, community is very nice, and I'm happy to have made it my home. Also, the events are actually awesome and well-developed. A+ all the way!

So far this server has proven to be a refreshing addition to the 1x/1x/1x genre. While I was a bit skeptical about returning to such an early episode, I am sure that this place will maintain my interests for the months to come. though I can only hope for regular episodic updates, I shall maintain my optimism and look forward to pushing forward into rebirth. There is so much of this world that I want to explore with my friends. And if this place can provide, you'll see me around for quite a while
