The server is up 24/7, the player base is friendly and helpful and friendly even to newbies, and the GM team responds to player concerns within days. I was afraid of the large number of custom quests when joining, but they play into the experience and are difficult to complete. None of the custom items are overpowered. Lots of friendly players, but not a single bot in sight. More players are always welcome. After playing this server for long enough, I'm spoiled and can't play any other.

Well I have not been on this server for too long, maybe 2 weeks or so but I'm a complete newbie to RO and yet I find the people playing the server very helpful and very informative about certain game aspects. The custom quests are rather challenging & lengthy but it keeps the fun of the game going. Some of the points that need improvement are the amount of merchants in prontera which makes the place rather cluttered & that there is not too much guild competition. Definitely worth a try or STAY:)

Renewing review~ I've been on heRO for about two years now. WoE competition comes and goes, but overall it's still pretty fun. Of the servers i've played on, heRO has the most unique, yet balanced customs available to the general public without donations. I would definitely recommend this server to both newbies and veterans to Ragnarok Online.

This is the Best Private Server I've Played Everything just so Perfect!! GMs are so kind... everyone just so nice to me i wish that this server will be number one can't believe you guys dont want to play it :D

The server is very good, stable, with some work on it. However, there are some things that are not good. First, the economy, too much inflation. Second, the amount of merch @at is too big and although the server supports it, creates a false idea of the amount of people online. Finally, some customs such as changing the element of some mobs or non-existence of repeatable quest, justifiable for the server rates, does a little difficult to stay on the server.7/10. It can be better, but try it!

I've played many servers, I've even had my own server but this server is by far the best I've ever played on. The custom events, monsters, items, and the custom way to make money (Fishing & Mining) are amazing. Almost all of the players are friendly and willing to help you. The custom command @main is a global way to talk to players for information and ways to find parties. Sorry for the long review but this server is with it. Hmm. I want to say this.. Make sure that when you make an account in HeRO, you have a bag of skittles. Cuz you're going to throw your skittles in the air and say "Ayo! Taste the rainbow!" This server is every synonym of colorful. Except "gay" Lol <_<! Not only is this server exceptional but it's sooooooo friendly. When I first joined, I had a difficult time catching up to my Hunter-friend. But this random guy saw me struggling, went to his storage, and loaned me his gears. 1 word: HeROisLove

I've been playing this server for 2 years now, and i can say that its a server worth to play, one thing about this server i like are the players i daresay its very friendly and the fact that the server comes with a main chat makes it easier for people to find out things they don't know, you often come across people willing to help, the server's quests, events etc are not too easy as to provide a good challenge to players but are also achievable by noobs, to make short, its a friendly community

This is only the 3rd server I play on, but imo it has everything to make the game enjoyable. Since I started playing, there have been a lot of events. I love the mining and fishing, it's just very convenient. The GMs are (from what I have experienced) always friendly and helpful and I like the community. You can always find help if you need it. In my opinion it's a great server, especially the custom gears/quests and such.

Over the years I've been on 4 different low-rates all of which went down on me, however heRO has not only been up for 5 years but in all the time I've played I can see the balancing in all they have done. Making items that would otherwise be worthless have worth, enabling lvl 4 weapon stones to be more easily obtained via mining yet it still takes a while. Now while it's true that WoE could use some work to be sure they are going to be helping it out soon. Besides there is SO much to do here!^_^
